I have not watched Detroit as much as the Jets. But based on stats:

Detroit on offense: Number 2 in total yards, 9th in ppg
Detroit on defense: Number 15th ppg, 4th in total yards

Chargers on offense: 15th in total yards, 8th in ppg
Chargers on defense: 21 in ppg, 24 in total yards.

Don't see any match up issues. If anything Detroit's offense over our defense. But that can be deceiving. Our D is
playing much better now than at any point in the season. Maybe a mirror image of the Jets game. Both offensives
would seem to have the advantage.

This is another game where turnovers and luck may determine the outcome.

      Agreed pretty much.
      We had energy vs NYJ.
      That is mandatory vs Detroit.
I am looking for Guyton and QJ to make some plays.Goff, LaPorta, Amon Ra, Stickman, and Jamyr must be dealt with.
Maybe we do play modern football.

Tell me more. I saw parts of the game where they buried Josh McDaniels but otherwise haven't watched them. Looks like they drafted very well. What match-ups favor us

It's a standoff other than our WRs vs their DBs.
ESPN summary Lions vs Ravens explains how giving up big plays were the Lions issue.
          My rankings are
          1. Ravens.
          2. Bengals.
          3. Chiefs.
          4. Eagles.
          5. Dolphins.

Eagles - depth & balance. Just keep adding key pieces even this past trade deadline & nobody can stop that push!
Ravens - defense, offense is starting to gel which is a scary thing.
Chiefs - down but not out, still the champs last time I checked,
Bengals - will have better idea just how good they are after facing a young Texan team with comparable QB in CJ Stroud.
Dolphins - Just not sold on Tua, too often breaks down under pressure,

This is a video of two Jets fans watching the (first half of) yesterday's game, and commenting.

It's pretty funny how exasperated they are. If you watch this, you will laugh.

How about we rephrase it to this truth. The offense put together one good drive in 4 quarters.

It not a condemnation, no one does a lot against the defense, but is is the truth.

I’ve currently got 50/50 odds they take a CB in Rd1, if the right one is on the board of course. We need our own Sauce under a 5 year lock … Top CBs are too expensive in the FA market due to their value. A bad LB gives up 8 yards, a bad CB gives up 80.

agree on tua but the counter is I think he’s got the best overall set of skill weapons in the league by a slim mile.

But the offense scored 20, only one of the turnover touchdowns started at the 2, it’s not true they were gifted at the goal line for all of their points. DD is an offensive player too, but thats gonna be a weak argument so I guess I’ll stop lol …

Jets D is really good - Herbert did basically the same as the best QBs in the league have done, except he didnt turn it over. Charger strategy was to not push it to the point of risk, and the more Herbert was harassed pressured and hit the more they stuck to it. He was pressured on damn near every pass play. OL was getting pushed around by the Jets front all night long. Their plan was to win by not fucking it up. Great plan, great execution, no reason to ever criticize a 27-6 victory.
