This is the equivalent of any player using the cliche "this is where I wanted to be" AFTER getting paid (like say, John Parella about the raiders or any player that signs a contract extension with their current team......or Reggie White saying God guided him to sign a big ass contract with the Packers).
Look at it this way, a few years from now how would you feel bout bosa if he critcizes another rookie coming in to end their holdout?

Since we're talking about Gates, holdouts and stupid Charger policies.... when gates held out, the team told him to sign his 1 year rfa tender and they'll give him an extension...gates side said fuck that, if you're gonna give me a damn extension just give me the damn extension. Stop fucking around. Months later plus a suspension, gates ends his holdout by signing his RFA tender and the team immediately gives him his contract extension. So the fucking Spanos clan just fingered their own asses by adhering to their strict policies for no reason other than they have strict policies.
(In Malcolm floyds case, he did the same thing, signed his rfa tender then immediately got his extension early in FA.... But doesn't change the fact that what gates was holding out against was true....if the Chargers were already sure they wanted to extend a player, they still need to bullshit force the player to sign the low tender first BEFUCKINGFORE they IMMEDIATELY sign them to an extension (and by immediate, I mean between 24 hours to less than a week). Is it that hard for the Spanos management team to not skip their bullshit policy if it meant avoiding long holdouts that's costly to the team?
