The plan was Najee #1, rookie Hampton #2.The 4 ypc vet, 1,000+ yd vet who did his thing with a mediocre OL went up in smoke. We dumped a load on the rookie. That was NOT the plan. Najee would have made all the offense look better, even Bozeman.

Just some stuff from the game day thread. I'm not calling for getting rid of Harbaugh, but we have to start looking in the direction of coaching.

Harbaugh has mellowed out, and he's too jolly good fellow now. He had an edge when he was with the 49ers, yelling at refs, looking zoned in, now he's looking a little lost on the sidelines.

We got the Mike Riley version of Harbaugh. We fucked up.

Its his pass protection that drops him to the 3rd round, if there were an NFL draft for centers.

The statement regarding the OL being "the tip of the spear" is one of those very unfortunate ones; not that it is not true but inheriting most of its components from the past regime while bolstering it with Alt #5 over all pick in 2024 has not made that objective a reality for Harbaugh. In game 1 of this 2025 season, we saw what a healthy OL, albeit with Slater, could do for this offense but that fizzled out rather quickly. If we go into the next season with Roman at OC and the OL still in shambles, things can turn very ugly for Jim then.

today i saw both RG and RT false start at same time. THere is a huge communication issue

I don't know about even the 3rd round, he's not looking much better than Deculus or Sarrell if you were to compare their blocking efficiency to his.
