One of my favorite shows. I bought the 45 of the theme song which was a big deal at the time! Every cold open had a different answering machine message on it. His car was way nicer than his trailer And I liked Angel and Rocky and all the characters. It’s worth watching if you have never seen it.

I get a big grin with the mental image of John and Jim Harbaugh laying on the floor watching episodes of the Rockford Files. I loved that show, I was 17 in 1974 when it premiered. I was already a big fan of James Garner, and so was my mother. That show embodies the '70s. The heroes in those days weren't the martial arts guys (David Carradine notwithstanding) who beat up 5 guys at once, nor did they have the biggest guns. They were the guys who used their brains and were one or two steps ahead of their nemeses.

Bishoff? The new TE coach? Awesome. He sounds like a head coach when he speaks. And I love his message. Harbaugh has assembled some ultra impressive assistants on his staff.

Brady the passing game coordinator sounded a bit nervous and may be more of a project. He said he got the gig because Trestman is his mentor and is also one of harbaughs mentors. So it was a mentee-mentee connection.

I remember Lindsey Wagner, Linda Evans, Susan Strasberg, Leslie Charleson, Stefanie Powers etc. I did love Isaac Hayes too as Gandy. The scene with Lou Gossett Jr. (RIP) in the bar is a classic.

Thanks! I was trying to remember who it was that had a great scene. He had just got out of prison and was trying to intimidate Rockford by crushing his beer can (which he did) and Rockford said. “ Everyone can do that now. They starting making aluminum cans since you went to jail”. It was Hayes.

Everyone in the media seems to love the Harbaugh family now. Jack, John, Jim, especially Jim. I have not read one word by media about the sign stealing since he took the Chargers job. Non Michigan and non Charger fans have taken their shots but not the media.
