What a kick, Bucky's work at Granada Hills High School is.
    This was a perfect guest.
We do not play modern football.

It is a transformation that is shocking in how rapidly it is occurring, and that there are these four truly elite weapons right there for the taking.

I believe the Chargers will take the best trade down they can get.

Of course one thing must be remembered.

If we roll with a bunch of blocking WR #2s, there will be no need to double team anyone, and that is the value of a big dog,

DBs will be free to blitz, stack the box, patrol passing lanes, lots of nasty stuff.

Greg Roman had better make it all epic.

I think this can be KC's kryptonite.

      An awesome guest.

Going to be interesting for sure. Bucky was confident that if they become as physical as they are setting out to be they will be a real problem and win lots of games.

I agree though, you want some speed on that offense and at least some weapons that can gain chunks on play action with Justin's arm. It sounds like that isnt lost on them and they are looking for some speed. Something lost on Telssco for years.

You might want to look at this before doing your next mock !
Thank you Wood Man... great takes. Bucky sees exactly what I see. Draft RT @#11 and your next 3 picks are probably defense. Bucky loves Payton Wilson @#23. I like Edgerrin Cooper @#23. Bucky and I were separated at birth. Payton's injury history is the only thing spooking me.

Yes, must be remembered. The guys we have now are not separators or explosive. And one guy can't catch unless it's in his gut.

Finally somebody talking about LBs. Been waiting for years.

Granada Hills. I think Elway went there.

Again this weird dichotomy: trenches can only be built with top pick OL, playmakers can be found anywhere.

How many Michigan OL stated to go in the first? In the second?

We need both, surely. Hopefully JH2 prioritize correctly.

I think JH2 will prioritize talent and fit for the team over position. Sure they want to build a physical team with a powerful OLine. But I don 't think they are going to take a lesser player just to fill need - especially on Day 1 and 2

Nice to hear Bucky(former player, Super Bowl champ, league executive) say " the most physical team is going to win".
Still amazed at how many people don't understand that.
Thank goodness Harbaugh and Hortiz do.

A majority of top starting LTs came from the first. OGs, C, RTs are found anywhere. Sorta. 2023 examples:

KC- LT Taylor D2 Jax- LG Thuney D3 NE- C Humphrey D2 KC- RG Smith D6 KC - RT Niang D3 KC

Bal- LT Stanley D1 Bal- LG Cleveland D3 Bal- C Linderbaum D1 Bal- RG Zeitler D1 Cin- RT Moses D3 Was.

With our current roster, C would be my top OL priority in the 2nd or 3rd

                      LAC- Salyer D!, Johnson D!, Bozeman D6 Bal, Salyer D6, Pipkins D3

I like playmaker early '24. We went OL in D1 2 outa last three. The worst thing about our 2023 OL was the coaching. That's definitely 180 changed.

Hortiz has a HC with first hand baseline knowledge of college talent (his Michigan team). Said HC then knows the levels at which Draft prospects are as good or better than said Michigan team players.

Nice to have the intel advantage. Let the Draft games begin!!!!...well in 2 weeks from now
