If anything, he should have dropped weight to reduce the stress on his knee. Showing up flabby like he did speaks volumes about his dedication - or lack thereof. Time to move on.

100% agree, Sir Rich. when I was 26 (as he is), i ate carne asada burritos and chicken pot pies by the bushel (long time folk may know/remember the SD Chicken Pie Shop - 75c for a pie/10c to add the dinner roll), I drank beer for days on end, and I played rock n roll at night and slept in the day ... and I weighed (more than) 30 lbs less than I do now. I couldn't gain weight if I wore sandbags, my metabolism was so fantastic. For a pro athlete WR speedster who can get paid $1M+ to show up from a long company-paid injury respite all jiggly is just ... not a good effort at all.

With one 1,000-yard season in seven years in the NFL, Chark, 27, functions strictly as a deep threat. Even if the Chargers take a top wideout in the NFL Draft, Chark could see significant playing time in Greg Roman’s run-first offense.
HA! I've been calling Chark's name for 2 weeks. I like him much better than MVS or Gallup.

Then trade down the #5 for 2 1sts and get a RT and maybe another WR , CB, DL etc or whatever the BPA is.
What team is willing to give up a couple of first rounders for our number 5 pick? I don't see anything to make me believe a team will. Considering the rich talent this draft has. While I don't think Pipkins is great, he is adequate for now. I'd prefer the later rounds or even UDFA to find competition for Pipkins.

And, I'm giving Plumpkins the benefit of the doubt by calling him adequate...

Before you make the long awaited mock release, Will we be running lots of 6 O Lineman sets?
