Some very impressive film editing on the QJ catch.

Playing Storm and then the team not showing up for 3 1/2 quarters, thoroughly outplayed against that Raider team with a ton of holes.
Then the time out at the end and still not being able to put the defense into a good position to defend the Raider running play wide.
And those were the glory days of the Staley era.
Worst Charger head coach of the 21st century and its not even close.

I’m still hurting trying to figure out how a head football coach would allow himself to get caught on camera doing the “downward dog” in pre-game. 😱

Don’t underestimate the calming influence he can have on Alt on key plays where he knows what a Crosby will do and remind the kid what’s coming pre-snap.
I don’t care what people say about Alt. He’s a rookie who is playing the highest level of football at a very new position to him at this level against some of the best competition he’s ever faced and will need a lot of veteran support while he learns this league.
So a starting line of:
LT- Slater
LG- Johnson
C- Bozeman
RG- Pipkins
RT- Alt
Might be the best way to go to start the season while this offense gets up to speed early on. I honestly expect this offense to have lots of inconsistency and i believe will struggle to score until about week 7/8. A lot of unknowns and no real playmakers outside of #10 at the moment.
