Its not like he will be going against scrubbs in practice either. Mack, Bosa, Tuli, and You Me and Dupree as well. Lots of good guys with various techniques to practice against.

Matchups matter.
The one problem Salyer had at OLT was vs Raider Chandler Jones with his very long arms.
I love these bookends.
Alt-Slater vs Maxx-Koonce should be a win.
Dumbass Raider fans can see Slater vs Koonce on two good ankles.

Plus - he has better coaching than he would have had last year

Better game planning than he would have had last year

Thats not to say Crosby might not eat his lunch and show the rook a few moves - but I know this much, Harbaugh and the coaches will adapt if need be.

Yep...this is my main concern to complete our O-line...if Pip, Salyer or anyone else can't hack it at RG, I say at least bring in a decent vet FA RG...

Just read something about it being unlikely that the Broncos bring back Justin Simmons.

As far as I'm concerned, the money that *would* have gone to MVS can go to Simmons.
