    This blows. Was looking forward to see what MW can do a year after his ACL after playing 18 games

    No idea what happened. They said his injury wasn't serious. Maybe he had an investment do well for him recently and said fuck it! Maybe he saw them yellow uni's and said fuck it! I ain't wearing those lol.

    IDK what the FO will do.

    We have Harris and Rice at X. QJ maybe can play there.
    Doubt we getting McLauren. Keenan maybe. Arami Cooper.....Fuck No!
    Maybe a smaller trade coming.
    Maybe JH thinks we good 🤷.

        The past couple of seasons has left me unimpressed with Mike Williams behavior. It seemed moody and off putting and like he's only out for his paycheck. He seemed disinterested and somewhat entitled to a big payday without understanding his own injury history. I get the feeling that he feels he can't dig out fast enough to be an impact vs. ageing decay and so he probably just said the juice aint worth the squeeze anymore. Given his injury history I don't feel he will ever be worth more than $10 mil per season ever again even if he balls out somewhat this season. So monetary compensation is definitely coming into play here but I really don't care given we drafted two stud WR rookies.
        Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

            All Yellows-lol! I'm still trying to adapt to it. A clip surfaced on X of a big play of his, they were in those bright blue, whatever that was called - jersey and pants - I wasnt a huge fan of it at the time but I thought huh, that looks damn good next to the all yellow

            I think he thought about the couple mil this year, maybe felt his body wasnt coming around, looked at the amount he's already banked ($85M) and said naw, its time, i'm good.

            The Joe comments he was "any day" to press yesterday sure look sus in hindsight, don't they?

                Not anymore, no longer affiliated...I think it's an okay podcast overall and sometimes they have important information in the offseason, they do a lot of work on potential draft picks etc...but they can be real weird about change on the team, they act like some of these players are their best friends and the team cut them, LOL...They're young, I get it, I probably used to get that attached to players when I was younger too...I think that the team had an exclusive podcast deal with them for a couple of seasons and they cut ties with them for a reason...

                    That sounds like a plausible scenario, but at the presser he was really coy about how KA was going to join him on the squad and then crickets...injury might've been a big part of it but the team didn't want a WR room where KA still ran shit, I won't be surprised if KA signs somewhere and MW joins him by coming out of retirement, at least the Chargers will get a low round pick in a situation like that tho...

Herbert needs to adjust to playing with and trusting different WRs, all the great QBs can mesh with new guys, they just have to in order to continue to be great, QBs generally play a lot longer than their WRs and their success depends on finding rapport with different guys...

                        they might be young but they have some experience now and QJ improved a lot last year, look forward to seeing him take another big step forward...QJ and DD are both going into year 3, Ladd plays like he's been in the league for 6 years already and he's going into year 2, Conklin was a vet addition, Najee Harris is experienced too, they added good experience with MW but he got injured again (?)...I'm for adding some veteran depth too, but we don't need another Chark experience, it has to be the right guy...
