For any other fanbase, losing both starting tackles for the season would be unfathomable.

For a Chargers fan, it's feel very on brand and expected.

I posted elsewhere, but worth noting, if it’s season ending, Alt only played 2 more games than Slater over first two seasons.

Perhaps that will pause some of you constantly throwing Slater under the bus.
Sounds like the MRI was worse than expected. Which I guess is just what Charger fans should expect. No matter what you expect it's probably worse

Not to get too far ahead with planning for 2026 but yes, you can cut Boze's base salary and give him incentives if he plays

As for this year, re-work Herberts contract. Trade for a couple OL even if you have to use another draft pick in 2026 and from 2027.

          Chargers are 6-3
They have games against Pittsburgh, home and the Jags. I watched the Jags yesterday, the Raiders easily could have won.
Chargers might be 7-4 at the bye but 6-2 in conference, thats pretty dang good

          Get to work Hortiz!

            Not just both tackles though.

            This is just unreal

Becton was drafted in the top 10 to be a franchise left tackle. When he signed with the Chargers, it was reportedly contingent that he remain at guard and not be asked to play tackle.

I would play Salyer and Pipkins at OT ahead of Becton at OT. I just want Becton on the damn field at RG.

I would think a vast majority of us at the beginning of TC would take our current 6-3 record. If you then told us all the injuries that have occurred we would 100000% take this record. If they can split these next two games I think they can get in the playoffs, but with the state of the o-line I do not see them doing any damage in the playoffs.

Omarion must have a nasty injury

Well, severe injuries to the unit that Harbaugh has said from day one is the most important to him as a head coach. We will now get to see just how great a coach Jim is. Because we really need him now.

Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Becton is not a team player, or even a player really. He's a body so we could use him but the idea that he would do something to help out the team is fanciful at best. I'd trade him if Hortiz can get a body for him

It really looked like nothing. That's how unlucky/cursed this franchise is....
