Time will tell, but Zion is very physically talented and an exceptionally hard worker and hard workers are generally rewarded with better performance in sports. This is his 4th year starting so he’s seen pretty much everything now plus he almost has a personal coach in Nick Hardwick. Everything is set up for him to succeed. He could be the next “overnight” success story. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.

I'm looking forward to watching Omarion Hampton play as much as anyone, but I am also very excited to have Najee Harris. I think he's going to do a lot better than those who were slamming his 3.9 average when we first got him believe he will.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post
I'm pretty sure fans will be impressed with Najee Harris and Tyler Conklin early in the season. Hampton and Gadsden are quality rookies but won't have to carry the load day 1. I think it works out big time for them. MW and Tre Harris to a lesser extent since we have a young star in Ladd who can do it all. But Mike will help.
Quality starters and quality depth looks big on offense. not perfect but improved. How much TBD but my guess is major improvement on O stats and that vs a tougher sched.
Last year we were @ a weak average for the season at yards gained rushing and/or passing. I'm thinking top 10 in 2025.
And Win in the playoffs.

Yes, I have .... the dumb as bricks types don't last long.Originally posted by Icebolt View Post
Have you ever heard an NFL broadcast? There are quite a few dumb as brick dudes out there. Travis seems like a nice person and if he wasn't a KC player, would have so much angst against him? We got to separate the person with the player and the team he plays for.
Vikes fan hated Farve!! and never had a good thing to say about him ( I even heard the dumb as rocks comments about him )
Viola! he now one of us! HaHa. When someone suggested that the Vikes to a Rogers signing this is what I heard " He's not like Farve at all "

For heavens sake! Where does the "seems like a nice person" part come from?.
Based on various incidents, Kelce seems like an entitled, arrogant prick.. and it sure doesn't help that he's a Chief

Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton sharing carries protects BOTH of them from overuse. It also gives the Bolts fresher running backs later in the game.
Moving the chains with the ground game is the very foundation for a Harbaugh Offense. If the Bolts can do it successfully, everything else will work better as defenses desperately overcommit to stopping the run.

I think they wanted two backs last year. 15-20 carries each and let the hot hand finish the game. I don’t think Harris is going to lose snaps from a rookie. But I’m sure the rookie will get enough carries to push him. Smash mouth takes more than one good rb, I’ll take 3 of our rb to just pound it until winning formation.

Word on TPB street was MW was so hurt he was lucky he was not a horse. He was that close to being put down. Amazing how fast he came back from the brink of death.Originally posted by Boltjolt View PostMW not the only one dealing with something but none seem to be too concerning

And if the Bolts happen to be winning handily in the 3rd quarter, I'd be a fan of the idea of giving RB3 some carries. If the game is truly under control, there's no sense in putting Najee and Omarion through any additional abuse.

I think we'll carry 4 RBs and expect all will get some work. Hopefully we'll not NEED them but the depth players should be developed.Originally posted by Ghost of Quacksaw View Post
