Keeping my boy Rocket might have been better than Kendell Williamson, given the Charger special teams are trash so far anyways

If they want him, they can get him and sign him to the Active Roster from the other guys Squad

maybe Ben Herbert needs to be reexamined instead of the Oline coach and GRo. this amount of injuries so early in the season...I cant even speak!

LA is even a bigger and better party town than SD could ever be but as we recall, our SD Chargers had their distraction woes here in SD. I don't know the private lives of the Chargers players but since the Rams do not seem to shyte the bed as the Chargers have or do, the distraction element can be questionable unless the Rams run a much tighter ship with their players than the Chargers do. I don't know but I will remain agnostic on anything that has to do with distractions. Was not a big fan of the Herbert/Beer thing, but will just leave it at that as it is not the right place for TMZ type gossips in here.

I was really looking forward to watching and enjoying players like Omarion, Ladd, QJ finding himself, KA, Alt, Slater and of course Justin Herbert in action. I will also humbly apologize to those who were very concerned about our OL as I was too myopic in that regard. I also accept humility in discounting playing a 2nd tier difficult schedule vs last years 5th tier, although I do understand that the NFL has a very topsy turvy turn over nature from one year to another. I don't think that I will enjoy watching the Chargers of the next few weeks playing with scrub level subs on the OL as I am also very fearful of further injuries.

I will stick with Jim and Joe for one more year and one more draft, while I have already thrown the towel on this season. The Bozeman guy is the achilles heel of that OL and if they do not see that, I will just have to besmirch them by questioning their integrity! Greg Roman and the OL coach also belong in the past as this team plans on going forward. Look at the Jags, they were awful last season but they look legit, same as the Colts. We can turn this thing around but the new brass will have to clear all the trash whether inherited or otherwise during the offseason and then prove it to us or permanently lose "fair weather fans" like me. I was just sick to my stomach yesterday as it was so sickening, so revolting, so friggin disgusting!

Bozeman should be a backup but for us, he is a starter.
We won 11 games last year with one good receiver and QJ who was ok, but not what he is this year,....one good RB that missed 4 games.

But we didn't lose Slater or Alt for any games....correction, Slater missed 1 game. Alt took over for him and Pipkins.was ok at RT that week. But terrible at RG.

Washington ran for 163 for 5.8 YPC and their one good receiver who played was Samuel and he had 11 targets, 8 catches. We couldn't cover him and the rest of the receivers had 2 targets each. Their TEs had 2 total targets.

Our secondary was awful but I agree with you. Other teams have injuries and our coaches failed in that game.
Devlin should be the first coach fired. He can't coach up mediocre OL. Hardwick don't seem to be helping Bozeman any either.

No. They just have to work through it until they start to get players back. In the meantime, they are going to have to overachieve to have a shot at the post season. Luckily, for the Chargers there really isn't a powerhouse in the AFC. Although, the Broncos are looking pretty scary. If Nix plays with constancy, they are going to be really tough.

There is a reason these guys were FA's. Not sure if Devlin is the problem or if it's just a lack of talent. I mean the whole IOL looks slow when trying to block on stunts and the faster DTs. In other words, I think they have hit the ceiling with the IOL. IMHO, they need to draft IOL to develop and I don't mean just late round draft picks.

I dont know....to me the fact that they couldnt deal with stunts and blitzes last season...now after a whole off season and into a new season...its no different at all...seems like an organizational failure

A healthy Chargers team is second to none. The best way to stay healthy is to avoid further injury. And the best way to do that is to not play football.

So if we just stop playing football, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish.

I think this dudes long term viability needs to come in to question!

He came in with SO much fan fare! The guy who talks " we're going to make these guys tougher to break" is sure having a tough time walking the walk.

I realize the NFL is a tough gig but these guys are young, fit, strong, and young( I mention young twice as it's most relevant 😂). C'mon man!

Maybe there’s too much strength and conditioning.

All you gym rats know what I’m talking about. Weight training often causes injuries.

5 games into the season, I’ve never seen anything like this before.
