It is like after almost 20 yrs Dean sat under a tree and a common sense coconut fell out and konked him in the head. I still can't believe this is all happening.

BAL always had great value drafts going bpa and taking adv of fallers almost the exact opposite of TT and AJ who were locked in on project players and didn't care how many rounds they reached to take them too early.

Good everyone is in place as the Shrine and Senior bowl practices start this week, Sb on the weekend.
    Yep.

We are well positioned to attack this offseason with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.

Well for one thing, up until the last few years they never had the revenue in San Diego to spend like this

Yes, and that's not to say they have not frustrated us in the past or been the best owners....but right now they are stepping up big time, not just with Harbaugh but with all the expensive improvements that come with him not to mention 300 million on the new training centre.

Beyond that...this off season is off to a great start and there is a great vibe happening...feels better to ride it and keep it positive. In the present, today, we have zilch to complain about with the ownership of our team.

Harbaugh and Hortiz were my top two candidates (if you exclude Will McClay - who was probably never leaving Dallas)
          Yes - credit where credit is due . . . . . . . . . They've nailed it so far. If they kill the draft and get a couple of solid pieces in FA we just might be better next year than I expected . . . . . . . . .

So no 25 year old whiz kids were available? We got stuck with a guy with extensive real experience instead?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

I wonder if Joe and Jim knew each other at all from the brief time they were both Ravens in 1998. That was Harbaugh’s only season with the Ravens before joining us in 1999. Joe started his career with the Ravens in 1998 as a personnel assistant.

But I keep looking at the Eagles at #22, #50 and #54.
I would trade #5 for that.

First off PFF algorithm allows it lol.
But more importantly there are lots of prospects with round one grades in this 2024 Draft.

Let's see how things develop between now and the start of free agency, the next chapter of our unknown journey. But I tell ya what, the talent @ #37, #50, #54 are looking real juicy.

Wood, I just hate the idea of trading all the way down to #22. Now, the Falcons need a QB...they might be hungry enough to do this deal:

                  image.png

                  22 - TE Mason Taylor
                  55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
                  86 - DL Josiah Stewart
                  125 - G Dylan Fairchild
                  158 - C Jake Majors
                  181 - WR Donte Thornton

I have no problem making this trade, based upon what prospects will be available at our newly accrued spots.
Isn't that what really matters ?
That trade chart or any trade chart is a general guideline.

                      I'm open to acquiring 2025 picks also, assuming they're valued at a round earlier than 2024 picks (2024 3rd = 2025 2nd).
we might have diminishing returns with a 10 player draft class, over half of which we likely won't be able to re-sign.
We might as well spread the value across multiple drafts to remain flexible.

One thing we have to agree on is we need Weapons...look at the Ravens game...outside of Lamar the amount of quality playmakers was minimal on offense. 10 points is not going to win you a lot of games...
Baltimore was not lacking in playmakers at all. The problem with the Ravens come playoff time is Lamar Jackson is not an elite passer. Never has been. Never will be.

baltimore is going to eventually become a train wreck as coaches and others get fired before they correctly focus the blame on Lamar.
