Draft looks deep at WR. I'm in the trade down camp. If they do, I have no problem with Bowers, with an additional attached pick.
As far as replacing Allen, you can't. You move on. Again the draft class looks deep. You don't/can't replace Allen. But you try to improve the overall WR room. Palmer, Johnston, Davis and FA/ draftee , Scheme and Coaching make the receiving unit better.
As to beachcombers' question. Below is a link to the rated WR class. All positions actually. Specifically, 3rd round of later. Like either of the 'other' UW wideouts. Polk or McMillan. Burton out of Bama. Thrash out of Louisville. Or the front office continues with the blue collar player profile and take McCaffery.
