It just comes down to how many WRs the team will carry. If they go with five, Meachem is gone. It'll be Floyd, Brown, Allen, Royal, Ajirotutu. But if they go with six . . . Deon Butler was cut, Mike Willie and Dan DePalma are on IR . . . who's left? Meachem would probably be the sixth, at least until the Chargers can pick up another team's drop.

I've seen Meachem struggle against vast green spaces and air, so a positive performance against tackling dummies would be a step in the right direction.
