Just good enough to get your hopes up. Mostly because PR is very, very good. If we had average or below average quarterbacking, it would be a terrible team.
I honestly thought they had very little chance going into this game, so I wasn't that surprised by the result. Was it disheartening, the way it happened? Of course. It always is.
Team played pretty well against a tough opponent on the road. Can't have 3 INT's, miss a FG, have an XP blocked, and come away with nothing with 1st and goal in the 4th, and expect to win.
The fact they were close was fairly encouraging.
Also... that Holding call on Okung was in the Endzone and should have been a safety. That was HUGE. But as I worried before the game, Denver doesn't get those things called at home.Life is too short to drink cheap beer

Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

I would say Rivers does share some blame, since he didn't play well. But he wasn't the main reason the team loss. It was a team loss, everyone share some blame, coaches and players, McCoy, Whiz, Pagano. Not all interceptions and incompletions are the QB's fault.
But consider this: Everybody other than Matty Ice have been throwing interceptions and incompletions against that defense, they didn't play well. That defense made every offense other than ATL look bad.
But that Trevor Siemian led offense wasn't really lighten it up against anybody. They're an average-at-best offense. And our defense couldn't stop them in the 4th quarter when we really have to. Siemian made the clutch plays to win that game for them, in the 4th quarter, against our defense.Last edited by vinabolt; 11-01-2016, 06:58 PM.Follow me and my wife here: https://twitter.com/gossip_lady_se
