Tyrell was in the same situation when he made the team, and we found out about him the last few games last year, and he build on that into the offseason and Tyrell was going to get play time this year with Allen prior to him being IR, along with Benjamin, and Inman.

We have had good luck with FA underrated recievers Malcom Floyd, Wes Walker the one we let get away, Tyrell Williams, why not Dom Williams. Hell we even had some success with Seyi Ajirotutu

Current receivers Inman, T. Williams, Benjamin, beyond that you must be happy with the impressive talent Griff Whalen, and Jeremy Butler???
except, that's not the way NFL Head Coaches and teams think. These coaches are playing for their jobs, and though it doesn't look like it to most of us are desperately trying to win every game. They know veterans give them the best chance to do that. It's why Marty played Brees in that meaningless game with Rivers ready to go, stuck on the bench. It's also possible some players and coaches have contract clauses for things like wins (again like Marty rumored to have), and keep going with what they know instead of taking chances on raw, unproven guys. You can bet nothing will change until the team is mathematically eliminated or McCoy replaced and the new guy gets the freedom to shake things up.

That's not true not the teams with good coaches Pittsburgh and New England come to mine outside when it is the QB position that takes hits they call up guys from there practice squad. You know why their culture is different they look at the guy is familiar with their playbook, understands their philosophy, and have connections with players already on the roster, all results in less force feeding, less learning curve. Pittsburgh and New England have had injuries all across their o-line in recent years not to the degree we have, but you don't see them running out to sign someone unless they don't have that position on their practice squad, they plug the guys in that they think have talent, while we go dumpster diving. Pittsburgh and New England were the successful teams that come to mind off the top and there are other teams that do the same, but not us. We'll chase the Donald Brown types

when was the last time Tomlin or Hoodie were worried about their jobs with sub-500 teams at the 1/2 way point? Did you ever think maybe those guys have better PS players than us to call up? Would you be happier if I said that is not the way most teams think- at least lower tier poorly run teams with shitty owners?

Why are people still acting as if McCoy's job is in danger? The Broncos and Falcons wins saved his job indefinitely.

Agreed. Pretty much a lock and he has the injury excuse.

The Chargers. It only takes two wins to save a job.
