2024 NFL Draft - Day 3, Rounds 4 through 7

Started out a lil on the I don't know side......then settled into a solid draft....IMO😁. Cant wait for UDFA class and see who else in FA👍

i think that it is premature to write up Palmer's plane ticket out of town just because we made two 7th round picks. let's see those guys play in a game.

also, if QJ does not improve like we all hope, his ass could become a question mark.

replying to myself - this also might mean that we skip WR in the last wave of free agency and go after other PON. we now have some cap money to burn (thanks Keenan).

Quentin Johnston more likely IMO. Maybe DD too. McConkey is a kick returner as well.

I can't see them getting rid of DD. He was the best returner in the league last year plus why risk McConkey as a returner?

He has a position of his own. He’s not really part of the WR group and you shouldn’t count him as such.

Also. Palmer is really freaking good. We’re forgetting how good he is when he plays. Well, now he’s going to be playing a lot more cause the old timers that had a stranglehold on those spots are gone. That’s why they are gone. Cause Palmer is good and they were old.

You know it seems with every Chargers GM they preach bringing in depth to create competition but never see come fruition. I think this the 1st I have ever seen play out in Chargerland. They drafted 3 WRs and are still bringing them in with UDFA signings. This really is a breath of fresh air.

agree with all of this. DD is gravy for the WR group - he is THE GUY for returns. Palmer is solid.

I've never experienced a day 3 (or last day) like this as a Chargers fan since the early to mid 1970's. Yesterday was the best - IMO - draft job EVER done by the Chargers on a final day of drafting.
