      The 6 teams they’ve beaten are 21-47.

All the teams they’ve lost to have winning records.

Out of 7 games they’ve won, only the Broncos at 6-5 have a winning record.

It’s been a powderpuff schedule befitting a 5 win 2023 team thus far.

Prior to the Bengals game, I said the team hasn’t been sufficiently challenged to determine if it’s playoff caliber but if they won 2-4 they are, IMO.

They are 1-0 so far and I’m holding to my prior judgement versus calling them a serious playoff contender. I’ve been a local fan of the team and attended many games for 45 years and seen it all. I’ve already been to 5 of their games at Sofi. How many you been to?

But if you want to be strictly positive and say that’s what’s necessary to be a fan, then that’s fine. I won’t call you silly names or say you’re a fan of another team.
Ravens have lost to the powder puff Raiders and Cleveland.
Steelers have lost to the powder puff , Cowboys,Colts and Cleveland.
Texans lost to the powder puff Jets

It's the NFL and on any Sunday you can lose. We lost early when the offense was just getting there with an injured QB. I think we can beat Pittsburgh and Arizona.

Still don't think they are playing their best ball yet but getting closer on offense.
      Ravens is a good test.

TV money is 2/3 of NFL revenue. So they care about the fans that watch TV.

I love Harbaugh's answer on the flex. Basically, we'll play Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday, 1, 4, 5 or 8pm doesn't matter. "We'll be ready".

        No excuses or whining

They care about the trillion dollar conglomerate that paid for the rights for Thurs Night games and requires paid subscription for fans to watch. I guess thats the same as caring about the fans, right? Lol

I’ve had Prime for 2 decades, since Mrs Dmac (crazy coincidence, I know!). I’m fine with Prime but its annoying now NFL is trying to spread it out to seems like a half dozen different pay stream apps. Cmon now!

Interesting discussion on how impactful Poona Ford has been for our D...especially how his run-stuffing and pass rush have allowed the Bolts to play a light box and improve pass coverage:

            22 - TE Mason Taylor
            55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
            86 - DL Josiah Stewart
            125 - G Dylan Fairchild
            158 - C Jake Majors
            181 - WR Donte Thornton

When the Chargers signed him, I said he was going to be huge for the Chargers. He was in the wrong scheme.

If Minter believes that he has a great job, in an excellent situation, it completely makes sense that he'd be in no hurry to move on to his *next* challenge.

If he got a head coaching position this coming offseason, he'd make... what? $5 mil per season? In, likely, a less than great situation.

And he makes... what? $3.5 mil in his DC gig with the Bolts? A team with an elite QB already in place?

The better the Bolts do while Minter is with them, the more he'll be a candidate for a truly desirable HC opportunity down the road, and at a higher salary. Staying with the Chargers for a while is an investment in himself. He sees no urgency for a quick money grab.

Maximum money-- NOW!-- is the way a lot of people roll. But it looks like Minter is a guy for whom situation and setting matter more. I like that about him.

That's how I feel as well.
I also have Prime but I'm not subscribing to any of the others. Don't really need to anyways, I can find it on my stream service. But I wouldn't subscribe to any others if I didn't have the stream service.

^ This...and it doesn't even need to be an excellent situation...even if it's a decent owner and GM with a team that's losing due to a lot of injuries, poor head coaching, or poor QB play...I'm thinking Minter is smart enough to know which teams/owners/GM's to avoid...if the Raiders, for example, offered him the HC job, do u think he takes it?

Our d-line is young. Kinda old in the tooth at Edge. Need to draft somebody opposite of Tuli for the future.

Yeah, it's ridiculous to scrutinize a team for beating teams they should have beaten. You play the schedule you have... and understand that even teams that are having a tough year can beat you (or any other team) on any Sunday. Luckily, we haven't lost to any sub-500 teams this year. The Cardinals loss was disappointing because we blew opportunities and I feel like we're the better team. But to obsess over it... or broadly characterize a team based on that one game...? Ridiculous. The Steelers and Chiefs losses are irrelevant now... and certainly don't reflect our team's potential right now. The team is still learning many of the offensive and defensive philosophies and how to execute certain plays. We're no where near a finished product.

Shout out to you... you've been wanting an elite TE for 2 years in a row now. You didn't get exactly what you wanted... but there wasn't the incessant whining and complaining. You're able to access coaching/play-calling through a football lens... rather than an "I-didnt-get-what-i-want-so-im-throwing-mud" kind of lens.
