At the rights prices. 1 year deal for TE Evan Engram and 1 year deal for WR Copper Kupp helps fill out the roster with veterans that have something to prove. It's not like there isnt a bit of money there to spend and take a small risk with possible high reward.

I get maybe not overpaying in free agency but the bar at Center Right guard, even another TE is pretty low to clear to be better

I believe that most Charger fans, that witnessed the abysmal play of the IOL last year, if they are honest, will consider going into free agency with 93,million in cap space and not coming out with any signing of an interior lineman before the draft to help improve this worst position group on the team would consider that an abject failure.

Lets hope it doesnt get to that before every guard is off the board.

last season Kupp was still outrunning DB's....and catching everything.... his only issue is injuries...
