    IMO, Fehoko is notably better than Tyrell Williams was, and Williams was a solid contributor for a couple of seasons (before becoming eligible for his 'second contract', and signing with the Raiders). Particularly with his ability to contribute on special teams, I believe that if Fehoko is kept, he'll be an asset.

    And if defenses sag coverage toward Ladd McConkey (or anyone else), Fehoko has the tools to burn a defense if he's not given full attention. Tough for one guy to arm tackle, and fast enough to get away.

    So I find him an intriguing player, too.
    Don't forget that in 2016 Tyrell Williams was Rivers leading WR after the loss of Keenan Allen for the season. He had more than 1k yds receiving and scored a number of TDs. The other WRs were Dontrelle Inman and Travis Benjamin, Tyrell was getting opposing defense's priority coverage. If Fehoko can come close to that kind of performance, wow. I want to get back to what Herbert had in 2020 when he had multiple WRs with sub 4.4 speed who could get behind defenses and use Herbert's talents to their fullest.

      Lol,...sorry, on what planet is Fehoko better than Tyrell?
      Need to see a lot more of him in regular season games for that to be a conversation.

I was not a fan going into TC, he did very little after being rostered early last season, but his performance in the preseason makes me want to see him on the roster. He'll be 27 in Nov. Out of high school he did a two-year LDS mission in South Korea before enrolling at Stanford, that's why he's a bit older for someone who entered the league in 2021. Due to his strong preseason, I think he will be lost to another team if they waive him.
        He may well be lost,

        but I don't expect him to 'finally blossom' nearing the age of 27;
        nor do I think he is any where close to being a sub 4.4 guy.

        So if they lose him, it won't be a big deal .... unless the Chargers get devastated by injuries;
        and then, I think Rice/Johnson will fill in about as well.

        Fehoko's 'strong' preseason came against 2nd/3rd stringers .... how has he been doing in camp against Fulton, Samuel, Taylor, Derwin is more important.

        I don't have the foggiest .... let the coaches figure it out.

          Losing T. Williams in free agency was a big blow to the Charger offense in 2019.
          One of the reasons why they tanked that year.

            I agree 100 percent on this.

            Fehoko's official 40 time was 4.44. He "unofficially" ran a 4.37 40 at his Stanford Pro Day. (See the link.) Whatever. He is fast. Plus he's 6-4 220 lbs. That combination of size/speed is rare.

              Williams signed a 3 year, 30 mil contract with the Raiders, but was cut in the second year of the deal after being slow to come back from an injury.

                I remember he had a good start to his Raiders career, scoring a TD in their first 5-6 games or something like that. Then he had an injury that sidelined him for a while, then his career tanked precipitously. The Raiders released him and he bounced around the league for awhile then was out.

                  You pretend that an unofficial time is an accurate time ..... it isn't, and if you noticed, 'unofficial' times are always faster.

                  Comparing the little bit of Fehoko to Tyrell Williams and you can see the big difference in acceleration ... TWill generally outracing defenders to the edge on crossing patterns.

It will probably be QJ's best play too.
                    it took him to year 3 he learned to fight for the ball on contested catched and high point. Then off to be "WR1" for da raiturds and splat - he was never a WR1 talent. He was yet another poster case example of WRs out of college needing more than their first year to be productive.

                      TBen was such a pussy. He initially went for it but after that one big hit he took at the goal line/end zone, he became a simp.

                      If I live to be 100, I will never forget his punt return backwards 20 yards into the endzone for a safety.

                        Tyrell Williams' official 40 time at his 2015 pro day was 4.43. Fehoko's was 4.44. Fehoko is a bit taller and larger than Tyrell. I wasn't a fan of Fehoko at the beginning of camp. But he was so good in the preseason, you have to roster him. His combo of size and speed is rare.

                          If you were playing in the NFL at 165 lbs you might prioritize self-preservation too. He was too light to play WR and take the punishment an NFL WR takes. He was about the same weight as DD. So let that be a precaution about the temptation of trying to turn DD into a deep ball threat WR. Tank Dell is the same height/weight as DD. Dell didn't make it through his first NFL season without a season-ending injury (broken leg). Benjamin did make some really good plays for the Chargers. He was just too lightly framed.
