    I think they lose with either but I'd find the taste quite bitter to continue to slowly sink deeper and deeper under the surface hanging on to Wilson and never let go.

Both OG spots should be considered open for upgrade if opportunity knocks.

        I did see them make two defender stunt switches on the left side and Salyer picked up a delayed DB inside blitz perfectly once, and again, they weren't whiffing all over the field - so progress was made. Salyer showed some push and shove on a couple plays, Zion looks like he tried but just doesn't have it, can't move DTs. at least not in that short and maybe unfair snip.

          You can believe what you want to believe - it's a free country, but consider his motivation for the above quote.

          He took a haircut last year, but he didn't have any choice - no team was going to give him anywhere near what the Chargers were on the hook for - he had zero leverage, it was either lose a little or lose a lot, so he spun it as best he could. Of course he's got enough money - he's stolen enough of the team's money for 10 lifetimes.

          Compare Joey's situation last year to Mack's; Mack had just come off an unbelievable year from a production standpoint. If anyone from that abortion of a season had the right to additional compensation it was Mack, but he took a haircut instead, even though he had all the leverage in the world to get even more money, let alone keep his current salary. If I recall Joey spent the majority of the season eating cereal in the stands . . . . . . . . .

          Charger negotiations with both probably went something like this;
          Mr. Mack - we sincerely appreciate everything you've done for this team, and we hate to ask, but we need some cap relief - do you think you can help us?
          Joey - we need cap relief; it's you or KA. Whatdayawanttodo?

            Go back and watch Alt instead - a lot of times guys just quit trying after he got his hands on them - pretty fun to watch. Can't wait to see what he'll be doing 2 years from now . . . . . . . . . . . .

                  Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

                    But it’s a different circumstance if Pittsburgh wins the day before our game.

                    A win won’t capture 5th seed in that case, so the reason he gave to win is null and void.

                    Besides, you are always going to get “coach speech”. None of them will ever say they are going into a game with any other purpose than to win it.

                    Otherwise, they couldn’t sell tickets and NFL would blast them.

                      In that case; I've got some nice land in Florida you can buy for a steal . . . . . . . . . . . give me a call - it's good flat property, easy to develop, right next to a beautiful lake . . . . . . . .

                        PFF has Boseman grade at 61.5 which is below average. His pass blocking is ranked 51st out of 62 centers which is near the bottom.

                        Exactly what was known about him with his previous team. Okay as a run blocker but stinks up the place with his pass blocking.
                        I still stand by having Mustipher start at OC over Bozeman. In some respects, Mustipher looked better in pass pro and run blocking at RG than Salyer last week, and he was out there quite a lot, especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I even saw some 2nd-level downfield blocks from him in the run game and he seems to move better than Salyer. And I've seen Mustipher start at C for the Ravens last year, and he was good especially in pass pro against NTs/DTs. Pairing Mustipher and Salyer next to each other might be an interesting move if they ever try it.

                          This Broncos fan did a PFF overview of Mustipher when the Broncos signed him (and cut him later in TC). Smallish sample size for him as a starting C, but he graded highly for the most part in those snaps playing under Greg Roman. He did poorly against PITT, just like he did starting at RG this season for us against them (with the rest of our Oline including our tackles) as well. Other than that, looking better overall than Bozeman especially in the games he played a lot of snaps at C for the Ravens.
