Josh Palmer is gone but we still have a couple of good Canadian boys in the secondary....Deone Leonard and Benjamin St Juste
The way he played last season and what he's getting paid by Buffalo I couldn't wait for him to leave. I'm sorry, he just contributed on a minor level which can easily be replaced. Getting Mdub for $3 mil is a better get than retaining Palmer. LOL!

Didn't the pats have a guy who played on ST who was on an Olympic Rugby team?

Ron Brown had 1000 all purpose yards for the Rams 4 times, and won a gold medal on the 1984 Olympics in the 4x100m relay team.

In 1992 the Raiders had a pretty fast WR group. Alexander Wright didn't run track but won NFL fastest man 2x, Sam Gaddy won gold in the 4x100m relay, and silver in the 100m. Willie Gault had 2 Olympic boycott medals (gold 100m, bronze 4x100m) and world championship medals in 1983 in 4x100 and a bronze in the 110m hurdles. Swervin Mervin Hernandez never did organized track, but he was as fast as the others. Tim Brown was the slowest guy by a pretty wide margin, but the rest of the them were all among the fastest players in the league at the time. But it was not a very good WR room.

Klotz vs Matlock vs the 270lb wrestler from Michigan will be a fascinating camp battle to watch.
Being a midwestern guy who lived in the KC area briefly I am also rooting for Luke Grimm. Would become an all time Charger favorite of mine if he can give us 20% of prime Keenan for about 5% of the cost.

Ron Brown was very underrated for the Rams. He was never a star but a very good return man and a good 3-4 WR.

We have some interesting UDFAs. I'd include Raheim Sanders. I'm pulling for all the Chargers to start camp on a high note and get better every day.
Work. Compete. Gadsden appears to be a good example, among others.

That was at the PanAmerica games 20.

Michael Carter won silver at the Olympics .... pretty big difference

Lol Sorry - It was just a joke, not a commentary pro or con. Scolding accepted. I’m fairly sure Canadian players don’t count for the Int’l exemption

In prestige of the event, definitely. In length of shot put ? I don't know. Clearly both are stars at shot put

                      Grimm looks great in highlights....
he looks fast, elusive, strong, tough,,, with great hands and feet for catching inbounds ... etc....
if he can return punts, he can replace Davis who is not much of a threat as a WR......

he looks great against so-so competition....
our 2 drafted WR's played well in SEC ....best competition and defenses in college football...

our WR room will have the best depth it may have ever had..... we may finally be able to survive injuries.... and still have a dangerous offense....

Agree about WR depth. We have it. Reagor and Rice were showing up in OTAs among others. Camp is going to be fun. Competition for WR roster spots is best I can recall.
Plus- we have TEs- RBs- FBs who can catch. The O has skill players up the wazoo. The OL looks clearly better. If they live up to projections?
                        Hard to wait!
