I see the odds of Tanner making the 53 as highly unlikely. Don't really even factor him into considerations. Don't know why I would.

Oh wait...I see why you keep mentioning him as a possibility, CBF...he's Canadian.

I agree that is probably what Njoku thinks. However, if you watch OG, Kolar and Njoku actually play, I think Njoku is clearly 3rd.

I am fine with it, as long as Njoku is willing to let the best players win, but he wasn't willing to do that in Cleveland. Some of that may depend on what Todd Monken has said recently, or when he was the Browns OC back in 2019 (Njoku was hurt and missed most of the season with a concussion and broken wrist). Moken has used a lot of multi-TE formations in the past (TB, Cleveland and Baltimore)

        -> every pass to Njoku

-> every pass to Fannin, but if you watch you frequently can see Njoku too.

Cmon..have either of them been to the Pro Bowl? Were either of them first round draft picks?

Kolar is a blocker with 30 catches in his career. I get he is useful but....

Gadsden is very promising but his game isn't all there yet. Let's not completely forget he faded down the stretch last season and started to make some costly drops and really isn't a blocker at all yet.

I would add Njoku to the mix and let them play, let the coaches decide the reps and snaps.

No I mention Tanner because he is sitting 3rd on the depth chart at the moment.

And I want him replaced with another Miami Hurricane! This would be a sweet off season for me to add Njoku to go with our first round draft pick.

How about we see what Joe Hortiz and Jim Harbaugh think? They seem pretty interested in Njoku. I am sure they are aware he will not come here to play 3rd string as other teams are still interested in Njoku...this will not be a cheap signing. At least what Kolar got, which raised some eyebrows btw.

The side by side comparison is a bit lame given that Njoku wasn't healthy last year and actually missed 5 games as well. Fannin is a good young player, better than Gadsden. Njoku had 9 years in Cleveland...things run their course. Pretty normal stuff. Still only 29 though.

I agree with almost all of this. The only 2 areas where I differ is I believe Tucker will beat out Dupree. I also think Tucker will be a core STer. I also think Landon will make the team as a STer but not sure which of the LBer's spots he takes. There's Colston as well, but he has to show us something in TC. Could Perryman and Dye be out and they go younger at LBer? I have to wait for TC and see how that unfolds.
                My final Mock:

                1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
                2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
                3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
                4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
                6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

Always liked Njoku. He has all the tools. Hard to judge a guys prod'n when he's been in a bottom of the barrel franchise with a revolving cast of poor qbs, failed coaches and bad teams. Big target for Herbert.

Very athletic TE. Would be a fun addition in powder blue.

I think for the most part you have it - the one player I am looking at is Colson. Can he step up and make the roster? If so, that might put a player like Wax or Perryman on the bubble

Dupree - I still want an upgrade on.
