I'm almost 99.9% sure the 1st pick is going to be a CB. The Chargers don't have a #1 shutdown CB as of right now and they haven't addressed it as of now. It's really the only glaring need on this team at this point.
    1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
    2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
    3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
    4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

The Chargers had a formal interview with *this* guy. He has a lot of what the Bolts want in a RB. Looks like an option in the 3rd or 4th round.

        Projected Round (2025): 3-5.

3/8/25: Giddens was a tough runner for the Wildcats in 2024. He averaged 6.6 yards per carry for 1,343 yards with seven touchdowns. Giddens also caught 21 passes for 258 yards with a touchdown. Team sources say that Giddens could sneak into the second day of the draft, and he looks like a quality mid-round pick.

D.J. Giddens highlights below. I see why the Chargers are interested in him. He runs between the tackles well and has the burst to get outside.

            My RB preferences:
            1st: Hampton
            2nd: Judkins
            3rd: Damien Martinez
            4th: Giddens, Neal.
            Protect the QB
            Run the ball
            Play great defense

And as was noted earlier at 6 feet tall he could put on weight. He’s in my 4th round cluster with Skattebo, y Martinez.

Get an impact player: someone teams prepare for and try to take away, or try to go away from.

Is that Loveland/Grant?.... I don't know and have my doubts.
Hampton, so that teams need to place 1-2 defenders more in the box?

Absolutely, if that player is a true #1 cb.

CB possible...but I'd still like to see who's there @#22 for TE, IOL, RB and D-line...

If your TE is not there, your RB and your DL too
                        Go for IOL or DB

Defense was NOT our problem last year.... Minter made average players rise up and play pretty damn good defense...

The reason we lost games last year is because our offense sucked.... and struggled mightily to score points!
                          multiple reasons for that:
                          1. Horrible IOL play
                          2. WORST group of TE's in NFL with horrible hands and rarely got open!
                          3. ONLY having ONE WR who could consistently get open and catch
                          4. ONLY ONE capable RB.... and he was injury prone.....

Bad IOL play along with inability of anyone getting open quickly got Herbert killed and injured.....

Fixing the IOL so that at least they are Average and adding an elite TE like Loveland who gets open quickly will help the OL not ha ve to hold blocks as long and will help Herbert have a place to quickly get rid of ball when there is a blitz coming....he is 6-6 and can see blitzess... he just needs a safe place to throw the ball....
