It's as if they cut him because they believed he was stealing towels from the facility, but then re-signed him when he was cleared by video evidence.

I don't think he is trying to do anything fancy. He said he would call plays he knows aren't good calls in preseason.

I don't care if we win a PS game. Winning in preseason to me is no injuries to starters while getting a little work in against an opponent.

If Woods gets hurt and is out for the season, we lose nothing since he hasn't played in the regular season yet lol.
JJ McCarthy needs meniscus surgery already. That ain't good.

I wonder how many care if we win preseason games or not? I sure don't. Winning in preseason to me is no injuries to starters while getting a little work in against an opponent.

why? Because he isn't showing his hand in preseason? You know better?
How long you been a fan? You know what they do is vanilla out there. Shouldn't take PS so seriously.

Maybe he does that for adversity for the players to show something? Preseason isn't about winning.

Yes we know winning is pre season means nothing. I don't care if we win or lose pre season games.

But why run plays that you know aren't good? He certainly proved he knows how to run plays that won't work. He did it with consistency last Saturday. Nothing he called in the first half worked. Not one single play.

I would prefer to see some plays that maybe worked a little at least. Let the offense stay on the field a bit. Get a little rhythm. Is that wrong?

I thinkhe stated he was looking at the players and if they were executing ie footwork, etc that's what he was looking at

I don't think he meant every play. Can't help bad QB play. Stick was awful. Duggan awful. OL needs to be better. That's the bottom line.

However, Sticks designed run worked lol..

Maybe, but after last season offensively, with a complete new cast, some sort of sign of functionality would be a positive.

Other teams are playing back up QBs and young players yet we are the only offense in the league that cant get a first down FFS

There is vanilla, and then there is pathetic.

Let's hope Roman isn't out-smarting himself...it's gonna be a long season, and by the first game or two, other teams will already have plenty of tape on our offensive plays...by then, this Romanesque Secret will be out...

It was frustrating. We want to see a resemblance of the run game and we didn't.

It will get better. Depth is still not great. Jaimes is terrible and got steam rolled on the one run play. Maybe the OL starters get another series or two and it looks better.
Pipkins I'm not sold on as a run blocking OG so hope to see better.

There was already a hint that the offense wasn't quite up to where they want it to be before the Seattle game.

Its not exactly like everything was rolling along until reality hit.
