Clearly the defensive line was the biggest reason for the win.

Could make a case for Josh Sweat to get it over Hurts. Sweat had 2.5 sacks and forced the interception that led to their touchdown to make it 24-0 right before halftime.
The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. But the real MVP got snubbed.

Becton is the real deal guard we need despite injury concerns.
Even after winning the superbowl, he should be affordable and if he comes here, he will be harder to break.
There's also Bears OG Jenkins. He is their best OL. I little injury prone. Missed 12 games the past 3 seasons. I'm sure he wouldn't mind leaving Chicago.
If you sign him, likely need to draft another for decent depth.

Evan Neal * for those of you advocating a Mekhi Becton invest, would you consider the same for Neal, moving him inside to guard.... might cost a fourth rounder + $8m/year ??
Minshew * have always liked this guy as a Herbatron backup, and think he might cost you a sixth, and maybe $6m/year or so ??

players that have been suggested in possible trades....

Pips * prolly more than one team could use a serviceable OLineman, and might garner you a fifth rounder
Derwin * would you trade him straight up for Pickens, or would you rather have a second back from the Jags, or.... ??

        * little bit more on why eye might be enticed into going after Pickens.... his production is avg, he has off field and injury concerns which could all lower his price, we don't need big numbers in that we have McConk, and dude might like LA ?? def worth exploring me thinx, and.... personally would rather trade Derwin than give up a second
Negative. And I doubt Harbaugh would even consider trading him. Derwin and Herbert are the two guys he talks fondly about the most.

I'm not trading Derwin either. He fits our defense too well and Minter also loves him.

I do like Pickens but I'm not giving up a 2nd rounder for him because of his character concerns.....which I'm not sure what they are yet but he seems to have something going on there. Figure that out and id maybe offer QJ for him..

I think Pipkins does have more trade value than Bosa --- but that value for Pipkins, what is it, around a 6th or pick swap - meaning Pip and a 7th for a 6th type deal

And after these playoffs, Chargers need some juice on the Dline
Thats how the Eagles won the game -

More so than the offense, defense. I agree - get some "juice/energy" on defense

These playoffs proved to me -- you need to hit and sack the QB. Just no pressures - but hit the QB.
Perryman and Bosa - not back
Mack -- has to be at the right price but I am not afraid to go younger
WR-- thinking younger but if they do go older - start with Davante Adams - he is the best fit -- but still prefer Higgins

I like your names - be nice to get one or two of the four names above. And if the Eagles can have a team with
                      Hurts
                      Davanta Smith
                      AJ Brown
Dickerson and the LT - Mailala
                      Saquon
                      on and on and on

The Chargers can manage their cap. No time to not be bold. That doesn't mean dumb and reckless. But Bold and Strategic!!

After giving it more thought, I have to wonder how effective Josh Sweat and Milton Williams will be without Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Although I rooted for the Eagles last night, I normally don't, and when I watched them this season I noticed Carter as the most disruptive force on that defense, followed by Davis.

The way I see it, the attention Carter and Davis commanded could have provided favorable matchups to Sweat and Nolan Smith, Jr. they otherwise wouldn't have had. Sweat may not thrive with us, unless we draft Kenneth Grant in the first round and he turns out to be a beast. I could be wrong about Sweat here, though.

Signing Williams kind of makes me think of when we brought in Sebastian Joseph-Day, who lasted only 14 games into his second season with us on a three-year contract. In that scenario we could be taking on a backup who ends up moving from team to team across the league during his prime years.

Again, I could be wrong about this, but I would be concerned about the Super Bowl win causing these players to be overhyped.
