thats most likely imo too. Boze in the back, or as they say - liquor in the rear.Originally posted by Boltinloudguy View Post
I think James runs away with the starting C position IMO. Who knows, he could elevate Zion’s game. I hear a lot complaining about drafting a G late. LG is Zion’s to lose and they upgraded C and RG. To have Boze as your backup LG and C, is a good problem to have. You also have Salyer and now Taylor. Pip will be the swing. That is the one position on the Oline I can see them bringing in, OT to compete with Pip.
Taylor may be further recovered than I thought - he did participate in pro day, I think? Maybe he can play LG? Zion’s to lose, i agree.
they should continue to worry more about IOL than OT swing until they see its fixed. I am ok with Pip and Sal as swings right and left, i doubt they will get better on their bench.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

In his Pro Day interview last month, Taylor said he's "as good as new" after his surgery months ago...so he should be a full participant in the Bolts rookie minicamp in a few weeks, along with TC:Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

I think WRs and QBs have that thing back and forth so if thats the issue with Allen - I think they would be fine. For me, post draft, there is not a spot for him. Maybe that changesOriginally posted by Topcat View Post
Agree...and there is also that slightly disturbing report about Slayer barking at Herbie about not getting enough targets...don't need that, please...

I agree. James is only 27 and I expect a big bounce back season from him after leaving the train wreck of the Raiders last year.Originally posted by Boltinloudguy View Post

We could use more WR ( good ones that is ). If KA comes, I"m ok with that. KLS is a 5th rounder and you cannot expect him to have a big impact.
Tre is also a rookie.
I am also very concerned about the future of TE. Yes, we are all in on OG, but he is a 5th rounder that all teams passed multiple times on him.
Loveland and Tre would have been my dream but the 1st round really did not go the Chargers way.

He will play as good or better than Palmer. A lot of offensive talent slid in this draft vs. Dline and Oline plus TE dominating early. I feel like we got a ton of 3rd rounders in rounds 4-7.Originally posted by Icebolt View PostWe could use more WR ( good ones that is ). If KA comes, I"m ok with that. I doubt we will.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View PostI guess we find out today if the Chargers will pick up the 5th year option on Zion Johnson
even if he shines this season, he'll likely be easy to re-sign if we want him back."The best defense is more offense."
