Loves comp picks but knows we won't get 3-4 every year. Likely not this year. Maybe 2 which works as well.
I have moved away from Davante Adams -- granted, I still think he is the best fit of that group of older WRs -- but I am today, on the idea of getting IOL and DT in free agency. Maybe you come back around to a Mike Williams for cheap. Plus if Rodgers goes to the Rams - Adams will follow

But IOL and DT - thats who I am looking at . Of course, Mack at Edge and draft Edge - but I think an upgrade to the DLine. Golston or Osa from the Cowboys or Odaybingo from the Colts. Thats where I want to spend money today.

Looks like Trey Smith is going back to the Chiefs

I don’t see them blowing a bunch of money on D line when this draft is loaded with it. I don’t see the draft littered with true, day one starters at G and C.
Im just reading the tea leaves out there..

Chargers may have found their starting center (and it's not who you think)

        ByAlexander Insdorf|7 hours ago
Justin Casterline/GettyImages On Tuesday, general manager Joe Hortiz gave his annual LA Chargers' media availability at the NFL Combine.

At a post-press conference session with local reporters, Hortiz dropped a rather interesting note about starting left guard Zion Johnson. Per Chargers' editorial director Eric Smith, Hortiz indicated that Johnson has been "getting some work at center".

While Johnson has never played center before, it's not unforeseen territory for him as far as projection. Johnson got center reps at the Senior Bowl following practices. Some talent evaluators liked him more at center at the NFL level.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
        Let’s win one for Mack.

Im just not seeing them going into the draft with a guy playing center who has never played center and thinking thats a good idea. I think this is just like last offseason when Harbaugh mentioned he liked McFadden to play C…
          Its lying season, folks…..

its like saying we are comfortable keeping Bosa at 35 million..... we dont want anyone to think we are desperate at any position so that we have to over pay for players....

agree.... Chargers will fix inside of OL in FA.... and likely draft a young future C in mid to late rounds....

I think we will add a consistent playmaking Outside starting WR to compliment Ladd,...

and maybe a vet CB who can start....

Draft for starting difference making TE, and adding pass rushing DT's and DE's, and 2 young stud RB's with spreed, tackle breaking and catching ability... and depth....

I think this means they want two new starters at G.

I think you got the 4 more important things to do to improve that team.
RB, DB, DT, WR, LB only if one of them is a steal in the first four rounds.

I don't believe that saying Zion is getting some snaps at C is a lie. It is a long, long way from saying Zion will be the 2025 starting C.
I'd guess that giving him some snaps at C means they're letting Jaimes go to FA..

Don't be disrespecting Clipboard Jesus (best nickname ever)! We did trade him to the Seahawks for a 3rd round pick.

He may have had the easiest NFL career ever. He made $17.5 million dollars in his 10 year career for playing in 25 games (started 9) and throwing 396 passes. Lots of money and no CTE when he was done.
