Is Colston still on the team, I didn’t see him at linebacker with that display. Hope he can come in and take over, too many set backs to start his career, but he was made for this defense? Am I wrong?

At this point I think you just throw Colson in the mix at camp and let him compete, see what happens. I don't think you can pencil him in as a starter or even a roster spot at this point. Colson has a lot of catching up to do and a lot to prove at the NFL level.

It would be a huge bonus though if he can recapture his Michigan form at this level

The reality is that a lot of free agents in the pool right now won't ever end up even negotiating w/new teams. But there will also be a big fresh batch in the days prior to open free agency.

Interesting evaluation of Tuli as compared to Karlaftis

I had Tuli higher than Josh Sweat but less than Nick Bonitto - -so right in this range

Just as an interesting aside, I took over an existing IDP dynasty fantasy football team a few weeks ago and one of the first trades I made was to trade away Karlaftis for Tuli.

Needless to say, I was quite happy with the deal.

Tuli has been better and played only 3 seasons to 5 for Oweh,....and has more starts. Oweh has been spot starter, rotational guy. I do think he is coming on and could start more often but he only has 4 more sacks in two more years.
But hey if we can get Tuli less than 22 per year, im for it. Tuli is also only 23, Oweh is 27.

Owehs contract id think would be more comparable to Johnathon Cooper.

Oweh wasn't doin' jack in Baltimore.... it was only post Jesse that he found his groove again here, and w/the help of Tuli 'n Mack.

I view it nearly as a lock that two of three won't be with the Bolt in '26. And don't want to shock anyone here, but I wouldn't rule it out entirely that *all three* are gone. We have options, and that starts with an exceptional draft class of edge players that is pretty deep.

Departing for different reasons, of course. I think Dupree is just about done as pass rusher...graded out 112/115 in that department last season. Dude's just getting old: 32 right now.

Dupree's role is to set the EDGE in a few snaps per game, and at a cheap price, and that may end up being feason enough to keep him.
