Which is one reason I’m not opposed to signing Biadaz, assuming he’s cleared medically. While he may be an average Center, Aaron Brewer was also pretty average before he joined Miami.

Yeah, I agree which is why I'm ok with Fortner, but I think the Chargers are going to spend big on the oline. This wasn't my thought process early on but that has changed.
      1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
      2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
      3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
      4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

right if the numbers get bonkers , get a good player , if the knee is good, and maybe a comp for Zion

If Biadaz gets signed then I think Zion comes back.

Hortiz likes to get deals that produce and don't hit the formula, Biadasz and Jenkins fit that profile...the best thing about getting a couple of guys like that is that you can easily afford to keep two of your top three free agents, you can either keep both Edge guys or keep one Edge guy and Zion...and because you didn't break the bank for them you can also draft their eventual replacements...
Not a bad plan unless you can get better. In this case we are talking about protecting our best and most expensive player.

I'm good playing that game but not this year with the OL. Seen enough of having a shit iOL. Don't really care what GAC guys say either. Being a versatile OL is usually a good thing and something teams want.

100 mil in cap space and we are going to play the comp pick game?
I like cheesecake,....but I know I can't have it all the time. There will be consequences.

Just get the two BEST guys you can that fit the scheme. Play the cut and released game after that. If Biadasz is one, then great. But we can do better than Jenkins AND Zion,...... but id be good if Jenkins is replacing Zion, then we draft a OG.

I just don't think Zion and Jenkins together is a good combo as both are average. If he is replacing Zion then great. Then we can draft a OG early..

That’s a good possibility and wouldn’t be opposed. I just think if Zion is going to get $18+, I’m out and I think Hortiz would be out. You can sign a vet like Teller and draft Chase Bisontis and be good. Draft another G or C in the 4th or 5th because I do think Hortiz trades back. Also sign some more vets for depth. Cole Strange, James Daniels, Danny Pinter, Larry Borom, Will Hernandez. They have options for depth. Elghton Jenkins might become available as well.

I think I would lean more towards WR Skyy Moore over Devon Duvernay at this point. Better averages in punt and kick return and I think McD could have some plays up his sleeve for him with 4.41 speed. You can sign him for cheap at $2.5 mil a year. He would be either the 4th or 5th WR and that works for me. Ladd 4.39, KLS 4.37 and Moore 4.41. That’s some juice in the field.

I would try to get the 3 year deal for Biadasz as opposed to the one year deal.
If that's what actually happens.I like it.The 11th ranked Center for half the price as Tyler.I take that all day. Leaves you way more flexibility.

So if Daniel Hunter just got a one year extension for $40.1 million from Houston, that puts Oweh at one foot out the door.

Saleh and the Titans will pay that bill.

If Rashan Gary is released, Oweh signs somewhere else. Who would you rather sign? Chubb or Gary? Probably going to both cost about the same.

Does anyone here honestly still believe that the Chargers spent the 12 APY money more wisely after Henry left? When you have young productive players that in Zion's case is still ascending you need to keep those guys, ESPECIALLY at O-line were it's plain to see that there just isn't that much talent to go around...
I wouldn't exactly say Zion is ascending...he's played well at times in previous seasons, but not so great last season...
