Seems like Brown would be money/picks well spent. McConkey was not good last season. Was he injured? We need consistency at WR.Originally posted by Fleet 1 View PostI am so excited for this offseason. What a great way to start the weekend.
Chargers also interested in AJ Brown.

I hear you but two things to keep in mind:Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View PostI don't mind his attitude or his salary - -its the draft picks to get him that I find problematic. I think Mike Evans, two years, probably less AAV, makes more sense. And he is older. But he is a true X receiver and NO draft picks. Cheaper. Granted, I think he too old but if you are giving me just TWO choices
AJ Brown
Mike Evans
would pick Evans
-Evans would hit us w/comp pick equations
-TB Insiders think Evans will ultimately re-sign with Bucs

My two cents...
AJ Brown? Absolutely fucking no. Draft picks AND a chunk of cap? What are you folks thinking? Give Ladd and Tre and KLS and Q a shot...
And double fuck no to giving up picks for a guy the Eagles WANT to get rid of, like a bad headache...they should give us picks to take his salary, and his complaints, and the headache of the next salary negotiation...
I, personally, like Q...and understand AJ's abilities...but...best I can do is a swap of Q and AJ...maybe throw in a 6th. Otherwise, go stuff it, Philly.
I am very excited to see what Tre can do for us year 2...he is a budding stud. We already started fixing the oline...when its complete, Herbie will have no excuses...and neither will the WR corp...build the oline, keep injecting talent into the D...and see what the last several drafts have given us in the wr room...
I swear...folks on here think we are playing Madden
Sorry...callz em' like I seez em'...2026 Post combine Sig Mock 2.0
1. Blake Miller G/T Clemson
2. Gabe Jacas Edge Illinois
3. Jalon Kilgore DB South Carolina
4. Zane Durant DT Penn State
6. Jager Burton G/C Kentucky

Matlock is out for sure, but why so down on Fisk? Most every team carries a blocking tight end, who might catch 10-15 passes a season. Fisk is a very good blocker. Dependable hands with a frame to shield the ball, too.Originally posted by Charge! View Postyes, cut them!.... they are not threats of any kind.... both are basically extra low quality OL with no running skills or receiving skills

AJ Brown would cost the Chargers REAL picks like a 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rdOriginally posted by YAC View Post

What would Mike Evans maybe cost them - a 2027 4th round pick or something

I very much hear your sentiment, and if it was a fan here who initiated the idea, I'd probably respond the same way. But rumors seem pretty solid that interest has been expressed by the Chargers...and I think that points to Mike McDaniel.Originally posted by Lone Bolt View PostMy two cents...

Let's consider what McDaniel did in Miami:
He acquired a low-character WR in Tyreek who had a super-power. The move cost big money and big picks. But Tyreek had a super power...That super power being insane speed.
AJ Brown also has a super-power: the ability to bully and out-leverage receivers...on short, intermediate and down-field passes. The guy isn't just a true #1; he's a top-twelve WR in the entire league.
