We've drafted four or five WRs in the last 3 or 4 years. One a 1st, two 2nds, one last year. One in later rounds. And here we are talking about receivers.

QJ, the only 1st rounder in your list, was a foolish and flawed pick from the previous regime, and won't be here long. A true #1 WR would change a lot of things.

We have a good overall core of receivers, but not a true top guy.

Is such a player even available in this draft? An open question indeed.

Could one of these be wearing the Bolt in 2026?

          • Concepcion
          • AJ Brown
          • George Pickens
I'd put the combined odds of one of those four wearing powder blue at 35%

A 3rd or below will do us no good. If we want a legit #1 we either bring in Pickens, AJ Brown or draft one in the 1st round. There is no
            guarantee.

OR we skip WR altogether and fix the Oline to see where that gets us. And no, what we currently have is not going to cut it.
We still have no backup for LT, C and no starting LG. We don't even know if Strange will work out. He's not exactly a premier OG, even
if he fits the blocking scheme. On top of that our two starting OTs are both coming off injury, one very serious. Will they last all season?

we coulda, woulda, shoulda drafted Pickens instead of trading for Khalil, and.... everyone save for RW was in love w/the QJ pick @the time, and....

the both of Keenan 'n Ladd are better than quite a few quote unquote No. 1s

instead of putting the cart in front of the horse (and yet again and again....) let's make sure we have the blocking for Justin before taking for granted that any wideout can get more open w/the blocking we've had of late.

Pickens is better than anyone we have @present, and would pretty much decimate our cap, and prolly our SB chances as well ??

AJ Brown & KCC are both better than QJ 'n Tre Harris, and not so much when compared w/Keenan 'n Ladd.

and Boston ain't better than the any of 'em....

and before you start bangin' pots 'n pans, remember that whomever comes in here is gonna have to share the ball w/several other quality wideouts 'n a TE or two, and maybe even an RB or coupla few as well.... Brown is def not worth the monies, let alone any draft picks.

i dont wanna, this offseason was bad enough watching us sign practice squad guys with 100's of millions in cap, i cant do 2 years of signing some random guys especially if herbie is getting pounded this season

That's debatable. This is a deep draft for smallish receivers in the middle. I do think we need to move up to the top of the third round if there's someone we like that's slipped a few spots.

There are 18 receivers rated at 99th best players in the country in this years draft. The fastest receiver in the draft is Brennan Thompson at #99 on Tankathon. His tape is also very good but I think someone will over draft him from that spot and someone else will fall.
