QJ wasn’t on my list at all - many if not most were not. I was in for Zay, personally. I could see them drafting a mid-round speed guy and hope either new speed or KLS emerge from camp ready to contribute week 1 as WR3. It doesn’t look like a great draft year for a dominant WR1 but maybe he’s there?Originally posted by beachcomber View Post
we coulda, woulda, shoulda drafted Pickens instead of trading for Khalil, and.... everyone save for RW was in love w/the QJ pick @the time, and....
the both of Keenan 'n Ladd are better than quite a few quote unquote No. 1s
instead of putting the cart in front of the horse (and yet again and again....) let's make sure we have the blocking for Justin before taking for granted that any wideout can get more open w/the blocking we've had of late.
Pickens is better than anyone we have @present, and would pretty much decimate our cap, and prolly our SB chances as well ??
AJ Brown & KCC are both better than QJ 'n Tre Harris, and not so much when compared w/Keenan 'n Ladd.
and Boston ain't better than the any of 'em....
and before you start bangin' pots 'n pans, remember that whomever comes in here is gonna have to share the ball w/several other quality wideouts 'n a TE or two, and maybe even an RB or coupla few as well.... Brown is def not worth the monies, let alone any draft picks.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

Jack Burton - June 2 doesn't matter for Tyreek or are you saying June 2 because of AJ Brown?
I hope the Chiefs sign Hill
It was reported that DJ Reader took a physical with the Ravens and will sign with a team after the draft -- maybe the Ravens, maybe another team -- won't affect the comp pick
My guess - whether they sign with the Chargers or not but players like
Juaun Jennings
Clowney
Zeitler
Cam Jordan
All belong to the group to sign after draft day as 1) no comp pick 2) teams see what depth they need post draftLast edited by Bolt4Knob; 03-27-2026, 06:37 AM.

Too small, doesnt return kicks so you are drafting a little WR who will be WR #5 who may or may not beat out Derius Davis who does return kicks. Fastest guy doesnt move the needle for me and why i dont really care about Jeff Caldwell.Originally posted by gzubeck View Post
There are 18 receivers rated at 99th best players in the country in this years draft. The fastest receiver in the draft is Brennan Thompson at #99 on Tankathon. His tape is also very good but I think someone will over draft him from that spot and someone else will fall.

PFF listed this for every team
Los Angeles Chargers
Favorite Move: C Tyler Biadasz
The Chargers might have slightly overpaid for Biadasz, locking him up before the start of free agency. However, considering the state of the team's interior offensive line over the past couple of seasons, overpaying for an above-average player is more than justified. Biadasz ranked 12th among centers with a 70.7 PFF overall grade in 2025, although he is also coming off a serious injury.
Least Favorite Move: G Cole Strange
The overpay for Biadasz is understandable. This one is not. Strange, a former first-round pick, has earned PFF overall grades below 60.0 in three of his four NFL seasons and ranked just 57th among 79 qualifying guards in PFF overall grade (54.9) in 2025. Los Angeles made him the 19th-highest-paid left guard in the NFL this offseason. It is unlikely that he will be the solution for the Chargers’ struggles on the interior.

I think that is fair. I think Cole Strange was a good signing as the OG to compete with a draft pick and Cleveland, or Kayode for the other OG spot.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View PostPFF listed this for every team

Starting him -- "thats a bold strategy Cotton - see if it will pay off"
But hey, those Miami coaches say him every day so if he was really a f**k up - -I think they would know best. They don't want to get fired.

Don't give up on QJ yet. He's averaged about 725 yds and 8 TDs the past two seasons, that's decent production for what he's getting paid, which this season is about $4.5M. I'll be surprised if they pick up his 5th year option, which would pay him about $17M in 2027. And although he may not have lived up to total expectations given his draft position, he is not a bust my any means. I say give him one more season to prove himself, he could have a breakout season and top 1k yds receiving and score 10 TDs. Let him play out his rookie contract this year, Hortiz & Co. can decide next off-season what to do with him. If after week 8 he is having a monster year, they could also start negotiations during the season to extend him before he hits free agency.Originally posted by YAC View PostQJ, the only 1st rounder in your list, was a foolish and flawed pick from the previous regime, and won't be here long. A true #1 WR would change a lot of things.

Keaton Mitchell is my favorite signing, possibly the most-underrated. Biadasz comes in 2nd, followed closely by Charlie Kolar, another underrated pick up. Ingold is another underrated signing his value won't be come apparent until the offense starts cooking this season. Strange is another underrated addition, fans and pundits don't understand what they trying to do with the offense.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View PostPFF listed this for every team

his variable cost is only $2.8M (and its guaranteed). the rest is prorated signing bonus that hits team cap whether he's here or not.Originally posted by Velo View PostDon't give up on QJ yet. $2.68M base salary, $1.83M prorated signing bonus, $4.5M against the cap, makes him a bargain this season IMO.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

thx for the correction. Noted - $4.5M is not a relevant number. the relevant number for making decisions is $2.7MOriginally posted by Velo View Post
