Strange is another underrated addition, fans and pundits don't understand what they trying to do with the offense.
I like those under the radar signings you mentioned too.

I think there are some pundits who watch the NFL closely enough to understand MM's offense. I just think that most neutral pundits do not completely dismiss players past performance like here and don't make their evaluations 100% on the system like tends to happen on here.

I still think that Cameron Jordan comes on board after May 2nd passes. 2 year deal, second year not guaranteed. I think he could help us immensely.

        Ted Hurst, Georgia State (6-4, 207, 4.44)

Said one scout: “Nobody knew about him until he got to the Senior Bowl. He’s probably the fastest riser. He’s unpolished but he’s super explosive and competitive. It’s hard to jam him off the line. He’s got a big (catching) radius and he can run. He’s going to get a lot better. He’s more than just a developmental guy. He’s better than a fourth-rounder.”

He can catch though. Derius Davis would have been in the line-up if he could run routes and catch difficult throws. I was simply pointing out that the fastest guy in the draft can actually play WR as the number 18th receiver in this draft. I didn't say we should draft him but I do like his tape. Slim Reaper II. LOL!

I'm sorry to tell that any system does not solve all the problems. A look at what happened to the 49ers in the playoffs against Seattle proves it.
It gets down to the basics, blocking and tackling. If your sub-par in those areas no system will solve it. Miami's best years on offense is when
they had a healthy Waddle and Hill on the field at the same time. Other than that, the outside blocking scheme did not help Miami's offense much.

I think that Roman's approach didn't help. So, a change was needed there. But if our O line doesn't improve, we'll get the same results.
There is no way around it. I'm sure we will see improvement on the offense during the regular season. The question is how that will
translate in the playoffs, assuming we even make it.

I have read he will probably go to the Chiefs but I think he would be better than Bud Dupree

If they traded Q this off-season, would the acquiring team assume the entire $4.5M cap hit, or just $2.7M while the $1.83M stays on the Chargers' books?
an acquiring team would only be responsible for his base pay in their cap (or wallet). The $1.83M will stay on Chargers cap books no matter what happens, its dead cap

The smart play is to keep QJ and see how well he does in year 4. They won't get much for him in a trade and the cap savings is negligible.

Seems wise to me. Even if they added a better receiver ... he's either Top 2 or Top 3 on the team, depending on how generous one wants to be regarding Tre Harris. We've had years when 2 receivers got hurt and #3 and #4 (or #5 and #6) had to play significant amounts. Insurance.

I think he'll remain a Top 2 on the team personally, but even if he doesnt ... see above

I've liked him for the last several months. I know I mentioned way back when on here. I think he is a MW clone and maybe faster. I think he would be the perfect outside X the Chargers are missing.
