If only we could face Jameis Winston every week. There were wide open receivers he ignored on several plays.

Until we play Joe Burrow, I’m afraid there won’t be a real measuring stick for the DB’s.

Having said that, I’m impressed by Hart and Still. I think they reflect Harbaugh’s intimate college experience with all these players, from recruiting, through development and having to play against them which led to a greater capacity to draft sleepers in late rounds. Something our past coaches and GM lacked.

I just cant get over the solid, fundamental play from our 2 young corners...and these kids are ours...not 1 or 2 year rentals, or waiting to hit free agency...Hart and Still...late round draft gems for sure...and they tackle!!!

Maybe the best pair of 5th round draft picks ever by the Chargers.

But a large part of their playing so well is coaching. That starts Minter but DB coach Steve Clinkscale deserves a lot of credit also.

Perhaps you were ball watching because there were several receivers due to broken coverage running free as a bird that Winston mysteriously didn't see.

At least, not the way the O-line is allowing so many sacks the last few games. Harbaugh’s vision of a mainly run first team has shifted away from that of late. Herbert is being allowed to be Herbert again. I’m wondering if that’s affected the O-line’s identity somewhat.

Harbaugh has been a huge fan of Herbert since Harbaugh joined the Chargers. Herbert has struggled with injury since training camp but is moving more freely now.
We were run heavy vs Car and slightly so vs Den. Ari was bigtime pass heavy..The rest are close to 50/50.
