Hortiz obviously has a plan and it’s not buying big at WR if that means not getting trenches

No doubt he has a plan, signing high priced WRs isn't part of it. I thought Adams would have been a possibility and maybe he was but just choose to go to the Rams. We likely won't really know.

Regardless, this is a good chance to pick up some really good starters and some much-needed depth.

he drafted Ladd, he's going to draft herbert more weapons, he's already proven he can draft impact guys, why should this offseason be any different?

Probably a good way to go. Get your cheap RB and WR

plus there are many veteran WRs to help bridge for the draft pick. Maybe it’s Amari Cooper for 15m

and NE will go big on at least one FA WR.... the WR's will go quick because this draft is not loaded with them...

Yeah, I see them doing just that. Interior o line and some defensive players resign the key guys and then go weapons in 3 of the 1st 4 picks.

Yeah, I think free agency is really looking like IOL and defense. It really looks like there will be good value for defensive players in free agency, not so much on offense. I think they will hit the offense hard in the draft.
