Just don't talk about my "lack of compassion" and "insensitive" when some people were quoting me and said incorrect things about my points. I'm trying to be as positive as possible here.

I love all Chargers fan, inside of outside of SD. If you love the Chargers you love the Chargers, and will support and root for the.... Chargers.

If you're more of a city loyalist, you love the city more, and will support a new team here, even if they're the Raiders, fine by me. Just don't trying to kill the Chargers by rebranding it so us Chargers fan can no longer root for the Chargers. That's insensitive and no compassion right there.

From a Charger fan with no association with San Diego my heart goes out to you locals. I'm gutted for you. I will probably continue to follow the Bolts but if the they rebrand I'm certainly done. I followed the stadium drama for years but mostly kept to myself. I have to be honest and say that I've felt the team would leave after 2005/6 when the City balked at the 60 acres and I'll develop it deal that was on the table. I'm not up on City politics and the mood of the voters but that just seemed to signal to me that a deal would never get done. For those of you that leave all these can say is thanks for the brotherhood. As a final note, my brother (a Raiders Fan) texted me today with what could be a sage statement " No team moves to LA for good it's a temporary stop till your city makes a better deal"

How many of the Worldwide fans have put down their $100 deposit for that Browns @ Chargers game in Carson, I wonder.

Completely wrong. You can't say 'if you love Chargers you love the Chargers, and will support and root for the.... Chargers' without qualification. You came to love the Chargers for different reasons, for me (and for MOST, that's a fact) it was geography. Shit is changing, decisions will be made and you can't claim to be any more loyal than anybody else.

And how the fuck are we going to kill the charger brand anyway? After today of all days, you really think Spanos gives a shit about what fans in San Diego think? If he rebrands, its because he thinks its a better path forward for his new LA venture. Retaining the tiny, insignificant number of 'worldwide' fans is not a consideration. That's not saying those fans aren't real fans or anything, just that there are very few of them and if he's willing to piss off the vast, vast majority of his fans, what makes you think he's not willing to piss off the tiny minority?

Worldwide fans. As if the Chargers are Barcelona or the Patriots.

It doesn't matter if you're a Chargers fan in SD or one of the worldwide fans outside of that city, like me here in Texas. I will support any opinion that will keep the Chargers alive. "Rebranding" is just a fancy word for basically kill the Chargers for good. That's just cruel and selfish and I'll against it.

I know some of you don't have the power to kill the Chargers. But I think your opinions matter, and I'll continue to voice my opinion against that. Smart owners wouldn't do it. But who knows with the Spanos. They did some crazy things before.

                      • We're all hurting today. Let's not take it out on each other on top of it. There are and will be varying opinions and views on this. There will be fans who switch to cheering on other teams now. I'd suggest, if
someone decides to keep rooting for the L.A. Abortions, they have the right to, and if you feel that they're not your team anymore, treat these people just like you would fans of another team. If you feel this
way, then you shouldn't even hate Bronco, Chief, or Raider fans anymore either (although I personally probably still will for a while!)...
