Hope so, it is painfully obvious Herbert could use a good veteran WR.

It amazing what he did tonight with this receiving crew.

As I've said - the O sucks ass - has all year. I was expecting more improvement in the 2nd Q of football - so far disappointing - Herbert starting to throw for high yardage which is great, but it is not converting into points - inefficient offense. I don't think much will change unless Hortiz somehow brings in some pieces.
the offense lacks playmakers, since his rookie year Herbert has lost Hunter, Keenan, Mike, Ekeler, and you could say even Parham was a weapon in the redzone, you're just not going to win many games with Dissly as your leading receiver and with no one to threaten over the top, even Davis was. not available to stretch the field and Ladd, Palmer, and Fehoko were all clearly banged up...Raegor had a chance to make his mark but he shit the bed...

this offense lacks finishers that can score TDs, QJ has been showing signs but he missed this game and I think our offense missed him big time tonight...
On the Reagor fumble… it is amazing how the football can roll a million different ways but decided to go in the EZ. Baffles my mind.

Would love to go after Njoku but his contract looks bloated as hell. I know we have a ton of cap space coming up next year but we need to use it wisely.

A low key trade for MW or Hopkins + QJ and Chark returning might ease the pain a little...but I'm afraid we might have to just suffer/slog through this season and then regroup on the other side.

Why didn't we go after Amari Cooper??
Hopkins is a pipedream, but I would love it

Ultimately you are probably right. We need another offseason to fill some gaping holes.

Arizona got some early breaks, even when they fumbled their guy recovered it right away, the ball was bouncing in their favor early and then the refs gave them a helping hand later in the game...and we still only lost by two points...

Where is the o line that is supposed to be imposing their will and giving Justin Herbert a run game??

What you are failing to see is that defenses are all on thier toes playing short and stacking the box with no downfield threat and real playmaker on this offense. It is obvious to see and was rightfully pointed out by the broadcast crew. Dobbins didnt have a hole to run though all night long.
It's too bad we didn't get Marvin Harrison, Jr. instead of Joe Alt. As I mentioned earlier, Harrison was unstoppable with his three receptions for 21 yards tonight.

Yeah, our interior offensive line sucks right now. We didn't get a good center to replace Corey Linsley. Trey Pipkins, whom you wanted to stay at right tackle, is not the answer at right guard. The s********s of Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt are still worth the picks we made on them. Defensively, the bulldozing James Conner ran all over us. More work needs to be done on both sides of the line before Harbaugh has the team he really wants, so I hate to break it to you, but that's probably where most of the attention will go in the offseason.

But keep screaming for a Marvin Harrison, Jr. or Malik Nabers, who had four receptions for 41 yards in a 28-3 loss yesterday. As I said, I'll keep laughing.

                  Sounds like Charger football.

A lot of things went wrong today.

The fumble that Tart coughed up after Chargers created the turnover. Another fumble created by Chargers that rolled 25 yards closer to Chargers EZ and was recovered by AZ.

a real reciving TE like onjoku would open things up for the other receivers

that was freaky, from the direction that he punched that ball it should've gone out of bounds, unless if Raegor kicked it forward accidentally or something like that that I missed how in the hell did it not go out of bounds?

that was a typical Charger historical loss really

I said to a friend of mine before the game, Chargers either blow out the Cardinals or lose a close one. Sadly it was the 2nd one

I'm not holding my breath that Horitz will do anything this year, other than putting band-aids on bullet holes.

This team doesn't just need a MW, though he would help. It needs a legit game-breaking WR1 to take the top off the D. And it needs a legit TE1 that's a sure-handed offensive threat.
