Bengals at Chargers (-1.5) Pre Game Discussion (Wk 11)

Barring anything tragic, the Chargers will win 10 games and get a wildcard seed. I'm certain of that.

But I'm really hoping for the #5 seed, because that means going to Houston for the 1st playoff round vs going to Pitt, Balt, Buff or KC if they are the #6 or #7 seed.

If they beat both the Bengals and Ravens, they are in the driver's seat for the #5 seed.

If they only beat the Ravens, they will at least have a tie-breaker over Balt.

If they lose both of these next two games, they're still in playoff contention but they will likely finish as the #6 or #7 seed.

I'm super excited to see how the injury report looks and how this game pans out. This is the game the chargers historically lose. I wouldn't say I am confident but I truly believe if we play our best game we win. Having our most complete game of the season last week indicates we are on the right path.

Chiefs are due for a losing streak. May start this week in Buffalo. No one can be this fortunate for this long, can they?

Whoops, checked their schedule. They've already played most of the good teams they'll face this season.

The Bills have a shot, but knowing the Bills, they will blow this game at the end. KC still has to play the Steelers, who are at home, and the Broncos, who are at home. We just have to take care of business and beat them at Arrowhead. No problem. Sorry, just realized this should be in the Seasons thread and not the Bengals thread.

Agree with history, I would say that the Titan's game was a game they historically lose too.

I don't think we need our best game - Bengals defense is #26 in scoring, #23 or 24 in total yards. We need to play our solid defense and keep pushing that offensive improvement forward, it doesnt require perfect cuz we are not playing a perfect team.

Yea this team seems to be alot more focused and sticking with a true system. My big worry are the wheels falling off due to such an early bye week, but they're doing great so far!

Harbaugh and Ben Herbert have a fitness plan for playing into the postseason. I wish them well.

I didn't mind the bye week being early. The earlier they can rest with injuries the better. Then the fact that having to watch other teams while there's no Charger game on makes it feel not the same.
