Wait for it. What shape we’ll be in is unknown (“On any given Sunday”). I just disagree with some saying this is a critical game. Weather will be OK, breezy.

thinkin' @this juncture in the season our die has pretty much been cast.... think the usual suspects will step up/in.... McConk, Dissly, Edwards, and.... if we want to have some success in the offensive backfield, would take my chances w/letting Patterson run & catch some.... keep feedin' him if he's gettin' 'er done !!
close game.... we win.... take the points.... and the under ?? both teams stay below twenty points.

Colson and Jaret Patterson activated for this game
Colson back on the 53 man coming off of IR, the guys that got activated off of the practice squad are Patterson and Williamson...

With Perryman out, Colson should be able to get some snaps altho Troy Dye had a good game at Atl
at least there is some depth going into this game considering that Henley is banged up so no guarantee that he can finish the Chiefs game, I don't want to see Nieman anywhere except special teams, so I'm glad that Colson is back...

The only real incentive to win is not ending up as the 7th seed and having to play the Chiefs or Bills in the first round. Sure, winning this game would probably have the Chargers playing the Texans, but not at the cost of being decimated with injuries before then. I’m fine with a loss and having to play the Chiefs or Bills, as getting to the PO’s relatively healthy would be a great accomplishment in itself.
with the way our offense is playing, I'm not taking for granted that we even make the playoffs, if they can somehow beat the Chiefs it will all but guarantee a wildcard spot for the chargers, especially if the Dolphins and the Colts lose this weekend, the Charger odds of a playoff birth would go up to like 99%

It is a critical game. If we lose we'd be tied with the Broncos. That would make the upcoming Bronco game a must win if nothing else for seeding. Plus as already
been said, we have not clinched a PO berth. A loss will not take us out of the PO picture, but a win goes a long way towards us getting there.
That KC game is only an idea if we can have a run in AFC playoff
Lose that game and you got to go to BUF, KC or PIT
Win that game and you go to HOU !
the Chargers don't need to win the KC game to get the 5th weed...it would surely improve their chances of getting it, but it's not a do or die type situation...
