Salyer has not been good, people need to let go of that stuff that happened when he was a rookie, we needed him and he helped although most people talk about it like he played LT like an ALL-pro which is just not accurate at all...last year he was terrible at RG and then lost his job this year, I don't think this staff likes him and I don't think he's in the longterm plan with this new administration...

We can fall back onto the tried and true "we don't see what happens at practice or behind the scenes", but the resistance to making offensive personnel changes is perplexing, considering the recent uptick in performance with DD, Stone and Salyer / Mustipher in the mix.

Why did they wait so long?? Who else is languishing at the bottom of our depth charts waiting for a never to appear opportunity?
to be fair, making changes on offense is a different animal than making changes on defense...timing and rhythm that defenses don't need to worry about...

The Gro Jury has now watched the tape of last week’s game and wants to know why?

The New England defensive line is weak, so Salyer should have looked pretty decent in that game. And I did see a few plays where Salyer whiffed and others when he was too late to his assignment. I am not sure he is better than Pipkins to be honest. And Pipkins has been the weak(est) link in this line all season.

Mustipher is also a very poor player and he sees the field a lot more than he should.

So we have THREE weak links then: Pip, Sal and Musty...we need to do a whole lot of upgrading for our O-line in the offseason, both via FA and the draft...

They have Salyer practicing with the starters, they have adopted my advice to play him again vs a second defense and see what they see. They have plenty of tape on Pipkins in 2024 already. I havent seen anything positive from muffleuf***us personally, i didn’t see what he did vs NE though.

Not long ago I advocated for a top vet C and OG draft. I'm still interested in those positions but want to see us in the playoffs at least one or more games and grade them then. This year has been a learning experience.
New coaching staff, trainers, C, RG, RT etc. There seems to have been improvement on offense. There's room for more but the season is not over, I trust H2 and need levels can move if we finish strong.

I'm thinking either WR or RB in round 1, get our solid G in round 2, then BPA for C, RB, TE, D-line the rest of the mid rounds...

That was one of my biggest worries going into this season (the center position). I wasn't thrilled with Bozeman, but at least he's an experienced vet. But not getting a reliable backup just reminded me of every year when our starting center would go down and the whole offensive operation went to hell in a handbasket.
