It’s another example of Greg Roman not maximizing the talent of the players we have. There is some sort of loyalty to Gus Edwards that is holding this offense back. He had his best game and he still looked like a goal line back, not a starting back.

Hopefully next year the Chargers with Harbaugh will be given a chance to get into the top with the chosen teams. The media loves Harbaugh so maybe it will make sense to give the Chargers some rub.

QJ redeemed himself IMO. He made a tough catch over the middle taking a huge hit and held onto the ball. He is learning to draw the PI, just as good as a reception and his 35 yd PI flipped the field and put us in place to go ahead . Caught another TD for 7.
Surprised JH missed JP on that bomb. He could have even under thrown him a little and still would have made the play.
The power football was great in the 1st 1/2. Nice to see us showing run and the D still cant stop us. All those 265 lb TEs make sense now.
This game was a real toss up as stats wise, these teams were practically identical in every category. The loss was tough but really happy the way they played.

They run pass plays with Gus in but just rarely if ever throw it to him so defenses know they don’t have to worry about him. Kimani should be given a chance to be the back and Gus should be a complimentary piece for short yardage situations.
