Not surprised, this was bound to happen. Bucs have a true #1 WR to complement a very good Running Game. Their QB was a heisman 2017 and first pick…he is a late bloomer and honestly played like a first overall pick pick.
now for the bad, chargers for some reason only play well one half and have a lot of good backups starting. I can see this team making playoffs next year and having some success.
Honestly we are 2 years away for putting up a great team…Bosa, Mack and Dewin will be gone by then.

My big concern is Can Herbert make it until then without a true #1 WR.? If Rodger is gone from Jets.. would we go after ADAMS next year.

Tensions are rightly running high but what we are seeing is a mismatch between personnel and scheme. Is that the coaching or the players? It's clearly both. An offense that can't run or pass block up the middle clearly should be prioritizing screens and short/hot routes as pressure up the middle is the great eraser. Play action to setup deep passing only works until they realize you can't run.

One can argue that coaching should be adapting to the ability of their personnel and I would agree with you which is why I was hoping to see Roman replaced with Trestman early on. Roman's adjustments all just seem to be variations on a theme and not really understanding the deficiencies we have. The arguments that it's Herberts fault ring false to me given we saw him put up mega numbers in Lombardi's dink and dunk offense.

There's not a single person on here who believes it will happen. I think that's been made clear. But we can call it now, and anticipate it after next season (which is more likely, when the excuses run out).

Just like those who opine for more Vidal probably won't see it. Or who want Salyer starting over some others on the OL probably won't see it. And, yet, it gets vented on this forum. Which is kind of the point of the forum.

Great summation. Will probably fall on deaf ears, but I heard ya loud and clear!

Add this up and it was a 511 yard ass whooping on the defense and 27 second half points

That will take our defense down a notch.
damn we miss Denzel, he's a tone setter always has been it was idiotic for Staley and TT to let him walk...

I wonder which of our current coaches might have pressed to sign Bozeman as our starting center and told the brass there's no need to pick up another in FA or the draft.

I’m calling it now, it won’t happen after next year either. This does not mean I am a Roman fan, I am just looking at Harbaugh’s history and he isn’t going to change the formula he knows works for him. And he believes Roman can run that scheme.
