I think I'd give up two first round and two second round picks for Bowers. The picks would be at the bottom of each round.

Fuck that! we're getting our own bowers in this upcoming draft, might not be the receiving threat bowers is but is a more well rounded player that will still make a huge impact on our offense, TY WARREN!!! make that shit happen!!!

Big break for the Chargers on scheduling. Bengals will be alive and Chargers can sit back and decide whether playoff seeding is worth playing starters. Offense has been in its best rhythm of the season the last 6 quarters.

Yep got the deserving OROY at 13. There isn't a franchise QB at the top of this draft so no biggie. They're gonna have to get Cousins or Darnold if the Vikings move on. If TT is smart he'll try to pry JJ or Darnold loose from the Vikes.

I've read this other places too but why would the Vikings let either one of them go? JJ coming off of a massive injury his value is going to be depreciated and Darnold one year prove it deal they are going to want to see more until they know what they have in JJ and feel comfortable making the call that Darnold has arrived, if they do anything in 2025 it could come back to haunt them big time...besides, they've already paid most of JJs salary and whatever they have to give Darnold to keep him around for next year they can afford to...both guys will be on the Vikings in 2025...2026 offseason is the year that they'll decide who will be their franchise QB going forward...I can't imagine Darnold wanting out of Minnesota, the weapons he has around him there, the O-line, and complete roster that they have, why would he want to go to Las Vegas and be in a similar situation than the one he was in New York? Darnold is going to make a play to stay long term in Minnesota, whether he gets the long term deal in 2025 or in 2026 remains to be seen, I think the Vikings will want to see another year like the one he's had in 2024 before they committ to him and decide to move on from JJ...2025 is too soon to make that move...

Either way, I think they should give Vidal and Haskins the majority of the carries this game. Have Dobbins active and give him 5-10 carries to continue to get his rhythm back.

Bower is not going to win OROY - Daniels will. There is no way I'd give 2 #1s and 2 #2s for him, zero zilch nada none. he is a great receiving TE, it made zero difference on the team. I haven't looked at any of his blocking tape this year, no idea there. There are 4 (or more?) very good TEs in the draft to choose from: Warren, Loveland, Taylor, or if they want a Bower type = Fannin. I'd use a 1 on any of them before I gave 2 1's and 2 2's.

Darnold should be in the conversation for OPOY, but I suspect he's not. if he left a top flight well coached org to go back to yet another dysfunctional last place team, would he revert back to old Darnold though?

agree. JK will be ready WC week, not worried at all about that. I sit him the entire game.

I think the Vikes should let it ride for another year as well. But if I'm TT I'm trying to dangle something big for JJ or Darnold.

JJ signed a massive deal, he'll carry $30M dead cap in 2025 and be a net -$15M hit to their team cap if Vikings traded him pre-June

no way they let Darnold go - that dude just found his forever home. They will commit to him this off-season, and if they can't work out a deal they will tag him. I'd bet a large platter of tacos on it.

TT doesn't know how to pry elite players in their prime from anyone anyway.

Vikings have 76m of cap space. They have plenty of money to sign Darnold for one year. They can franchise him like you said. Personally, I think I only go at most two years on Darnold anyway.

As for the Raiders - they have the cap space to do something big for Darnold -- next two years, nobody has more combined space than the Raiders

Well, the NE result -- the win -- was not a surprise. How the Chargers did it, was a surprise. The offense has found another gear. Harbaugh wants 11 wins. The Raiders have won 2 in a row. I have to think that Harbaugh and the team's goal of 11 wins gets them across the finish line. This game will be much closer than the NE game. Maybe less than a TD. 27 - 21 Chargers. The Chargers reach 11 wins -- 3 more than I expected in Harbaugh's first year. A meaningful game in January? Heck yes!
