I still love to hear him on the preseason games. I wish he was still on CBS.

even to this day, I enjoy watching any QB that wears #14 (Darnold, etc.). I just love seeing a #14 jersey back in the pocket throwing a pass.
Loved those teams. San Diego Super Chargers

    MFIC - Fouts
    Chandler, Joiner , Winslow Muncie

But Jefferson -- that guy - and my recollection have probably made him a better player than he was - but he was something special those three years

And if Burrows makes it and the Chargers play him - so be it. That means the AFC Title game
      I could live with this!

We need to exit feeling on a roll. Losing to the Duhs is not a good feeling going in to the playoffs. We really embody Harbaugh here means we go in for the W regardless of the seeding but i expect Pitt will not be the victor. Besides sweeping the Duhs after them helping us get Harbs is just too good of a setup.

Plus side of a loss is it screws the Duhs pick way out of good qb without a costly tradeup scenario which enjoy seeing the mortgage the pigpen future. That would bring some joy sering TT reach yet again and F the Brady Duhs into the future.
I want a team that matches up well vs the bills. I think The Bengals match up well but I have a feeling the broncos could give the bills fits and even squeak out a win. The Bills offense isn’t as high powered as it used to be and can be held in check.

so in short I just don’t want Miami because I don’t think they match up with the bills well.

In fact, Bills offense is fine
its the defense that could let the Broncos hang around
and for sure the Bengals offense would move the ball on the bills

The Bills offense is very good

Rolf had a lifetime 70% FG success rate, fans would chase a kicker out of the parking lot today with a 70% FG rate nowadays. Looking at his splits

              <20: 100%
              20-29: 87%
              30-39: 66%
              40-49: 68%
              50+: 35%

Even our worst recent kickers all had FG rates better than that. It’s like the physical football changed or something … they sure kick it further and straighter in the modern era than back then.
Rolf's charity of choice was "kicks for critters"

After a miss there was a chant from Section 201

              "Feed Rolf to the critters"

              "Feed Rolf to the critters

agree, but i am against the narrative about NARROWING the goal posts. people are still missing kicks this season or having them blocked.

EDIT: i meant to say NARROWING the goal posts.

It’s not the bills of old, they let NE hold them to 24. Sure they still have Allen but they have been held down below 30 6 times this year. I’m not saying their offense is bad but it’s not what it was in years past either. Denver’s defense is good enough to make that close. And Nix is just wily enough to pull off some crazy upset. The bengals will provide a shootout. I think both are more likely than the Dolphins to win.

Widening the goal posts? If anything Kicking has become such a science that tightening them old make sense if anything. I’m not for either but kickers are even more accurate today and from longer distances.

i messed up, there is talk about NARROWING the goal posts. i don't like it though. i love seeing guys attempt 50+ yard field goals. i don't mind if a 25-yard FG is a gimme.

plus, with the game on the line, no FG is a gimme.

When I see the Bills I see a team that can score the ball - interesting about being held below 30. They did have some turnover this year. Cook became more of a weapon

I am just glad the Chargers won't face them
Granted the Ravens in Baltimore won't be easy either!
