I think Allen would be a option if he understands he will have a completely different role .
Like a 4th option maybe that gets paid like a fourth option but add depth if they need it.
    Who knows though.

Come on. We ALL know his ego couldn't handle that. The juice is not worth the squeeze with Meenan at this point.

I think the ship as sail in regard to KA/MW. They are going to want to get younger. The Chargers are going to have better options available in FAncy and the draft. There will likely be trade options available also. KA had his chance last year and chose the money. IMHO, it's time to move on.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

I would agree. If Allen is unsigned in July and he is willing to be WR4 - that might be the only scenario that I can see Allen making sense
            Same with MW
But those would be small money deals. Like what Chark signed

And thats probably not happening. I just don't see Hortiz giving Allen $10m moving forward.

Exactly. I like watching TV shows about people who claim past lives. I recall one case where a young kid said he died in WWII when his plane got hit. He was having repeated nightmares about the incident as a five-year old. Pretty interesting.

Chargers have been here before and nothing in the NFL is a gimmie. Rest assured the Texans will be ready to play and they are on their home turf. This is where guys like Harbaugh earn their money.

He knew that would lead to a trade. He was traded to the team that had the rights to Caleb Williams, who was hyped as the 2nd coming of Mahomes. His new team was a flaming disaster, his new QB a borderline bust. Meanwhile the rookie WR his old team drafted to replace him has broken his rookie records and is heading into the playoffs on the momentum of a 3 game win streak with an offense that is on fire.
                      Are you intimating that KA's decision to leave MAY not have been a good one . . . . . . . . . ?

His 2024 season has essentially played out as I thought it would the day he left. Good riddance - he made it personal, made a poor decision and he's paid for it. He can spend the offseason counting his money . . . . . . . .

He would never admit it of course. But if you put yourself in his place, he's already made more money than he will ever need in his lifetime for himself and his family, what he doesn't have is a SB ring, he's only got a few years left, at best, and he chose to walk away from Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert. He may never admit it even to himself. But if I put myself in his place, I would want a do over.

                          I'm sure at this point he would want a 'do-over' as well. Moral to this story; don't make business decisions based on emotion . . . . . . . . . .
