Any situation that requires the QB to be absolutely perfect is a guaranteed failure before the whistle. Lets not waste his career like the Chargers wasted Fouts and Rivers, and stop blaming the best player on the team for not being perfect. nobody is. PFF scores for the game, fwiw, he had a higher grade than Stroud. Stroud had a run game that got better through the game, a bit better weapons, and a bit more time in the pocket. Back in the first quarter when he had none of that, he did nothing.

Our OL went from bad to complete shit in the second half. Someone posted the PFF grades at half and then the overall game grades. Those motherfuckers were striving for single fucking digits in the game. QJ had a shit game. Dissly had his worst game. JK had a couple great runs in the firrst quarter and then the run game was completely shut off. Who else ... I can't name a single guy besides Ladd that had a good game - no QB can win like that.

Herbie will learn from where he can improve - and hopefully not listen too much to all of the armchair assholes that couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. Dude is gonna be stronger, meaner, and more focused and dialed than ever - i can see it
after calming down and rewatching some 22 I've come down from my bashing of JH. the IOL was CRAPTASTIC! FUCK qj...i'm done with him. he'll remain on the squad simply cuz he wont be costing much next year but PLEASE do NOT throw balls to him in crunch time or with a defender on him...he wont make the catch or wont become a DB to prevent an INT. I heard, I think Chase Daniels say qj has NO body control...go up and be a DB and prevent the INT man. I had a miserable feeling the performance the week before was an anomaly. NO QB can make it happen when there was so much pressure in his face right up the gut within less than 2 seconds, and then throw to a bunch yahoos who decided to slather butter all over the hands, and then even more all over their gloves!

and FYI if I fell outa my boat right now I couldnt hit water...I'd hit concrete!

It’s time to draft wide receivers who get separation, not those who are good at 50-50 balls. Stop drafting WRs who have to fight for balls and draft those who don’t have to because they’re open.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
          Let’s win one for Mack.

Out of 214 QBs ranked in EPA in the playoffs since 2010, Herbert just ranked 213th. Only Brian Hoyer was worse in 2015 when the Texans lost 30-0 to the Chiefs.

Herbert deserves every bit of his share of the blame

fuck yeah! relegate that POSH (POS Hands) qj down to 4th WR and special teams punt and kickoff but he'll probably not be able to catch a returner. Plus I'm not sure Justin is the type who throws a good 50/50 ball as a lot of his balls are thrown with little air to allow the big 50/50 WRs to go up for it.

you got the 80-20 in qj...he is the 20...IF THAT! But it'd be great if we could get more route technicians to open up the passing game. and getting dudes who CATCH balls instead of playing ping pong with the ball.

speaking of WRs with drops it looks like Amari Cooper leads the league in drops for the bills at 12 drops and 44 catches. That is a terrible drop percentage. but qj is at 7 drops with 55 catches. The number of drops seem low for him cuz in one game (one of his multiple forgettable ones) he had like 4 or 5 drops. I know he's dropped more than 2 or 3 more balls besides that one game.
