I think Hortiz now needs to find a proven veteran to add to the roster.

The rookies may step up and surprise us but that’s relying on too much unproven talent to go up against the hardest division in the NFL…the AFC West.

Keenan is more useful to the Chargers NOW than he was a week ago, even though he and Mike W. bring entirely different skill sets.

Not saying it will happen, but there's more reason for it to happen now than there was before.

Keenan would bring vet wisdom from a proven playmaker to a largely young room.

I'll miss him and his laugh. He was a fun guy to watch and a very likeable person.

There is more than a little truth to it, but is there a receiver who is a better fit than KA.

I think Cooper might be the best fit. I think KA is a better overall player, but because Cooper is a better scheme fit, he helps more overall.

We added Dissly and Ladd last year, Conklin and OG this year, we need someone to push the DB back on the outside, more than a possession guy at this point.

Cooper drops too many passes. He wears out his"fit" quickly wherever he goes. Granted he can play X but If you are dropping passes, he isn't a good offensive fit.

Yup he has dropped his way to 5 Pro Bowls. Absolute shit WR

BTW he played 4 seasons for Raiders, 4 seasons for Cowboys, 3 seasons for Browns.... He had two 1000 yard seasons for each of those 3 teams in all 3 of those stops

Buffalo was his only short stint where he struggled

And why was that? He played on a good team with a good QB?

That would be nice. Between Rice, Harris, Raego and KLS, I think at least a couple step up.

Made 3 his first 4 years and he is unsigned right now. It always seems a good idea til he drops a sure TD.
That's where we are with QJ.

He had a bad year last year and never really fit there, though not as dismal a time Williams had fitting in NY and i bet you loved that signing ths spring

I am not even advocating for signing Cooper btw, I just see over the top trashing of the player on here. I try to keep objectivity and show respect for NFL players, this one got himself drafted in the top 5 of an NFL draft...has put up over 700 catches and 10,000 yards so far and made 5 Pro Bowls. I dont think he is a shit player

Yup just like Keenan, who many are clamouring for. No one has touched him either.
