I wondered for a while when this was going to happen. I can't wait to see him honored in the Chargers Hall of Fame. I think we'll wait a little longer for him to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame, since the voters aren't very bright.

Nevertheless, Philip Rivers had a great career for us. He gave it all he had every single start, which he never missed. One of my favorite players of all time.

You got that right. Many on X also say it's rings that matter lol. The HOF would be pretty empty if only rings mattered to be a HOfer

I would like to see it is all. Just like I wish Dan Fouts praised Rivers more as he always came off as over critical of him if anything as a broadcaster. I want all my Chargers QBs to be bros. I think if anything it is more on Phil to reach out when he is around the team as clearly Justin Herbert is a fan of Phils and watched him growing up as is being pointed out, I want Phil to give Justin some love. Phil was around last year I believe but they never ended up meeting. I also think John Spanos should have done more than just a facetime appearance in Phils video.

Herbert suffered a season-ending injury that day against the Broncos, though, so it was just unfortunate timing. I don't think Rivers has been back to the stadium since. Too busy preparing his son to be a college quarterback.
